il campeggio più vicino al centro storico di Roma e offre sistemazioni indipendenti, una piscina all'aperto e un info point. Sono appena stato, personale gentile e posto davvero pulito e silenzioso.

English: very good place to stay with the family o with a girl friend. Nice, clean and polite. I will certanly return. I s not soo expensive and in 15' you will be in the center of Rome.

I thought this place was fantastic. Its a holiday camp with simple bungalow and chalet accommodation but clean smart and functional. The bar / restaurant area was great with stylish bar and furnishings, nice croissants and coffee or alternative full breakfast, free wifi. The pool area was lovely also with nice pool and plenty of loungers. The atmosphere was really friendly everywhere. This was the first camping village I have been to but would definitely return.

Camping Village Roma was a great place to base from for our Roman adventure. We used the shuttle service from Ciampino Airport upon arrival so there was no confusion and stress when we landed. We stayed in one of the private tents for four nights. It was by no means luxury accommodation, but suited us just fine. There was a single bed and a set of single bunk beds. All of which were comfy enough and clean. We were worried about late night party sounds as the walls were canvas, but we never heard anyone too late. There was a lot of road noise though as Via Aurelia is a very busy road 24/7, but with the purchase of ear plugs we were set! We got the breakfast buffet the first day, but were not too impressed so just brought in our own breakfast food after that. We used the shuttle service to Cipro station offered on our first two days. Worth the 3 euros return just for the entertainment alone! We opted for the bus after the first two days as we wanted the flexibility. We ate in Ciao Bella a few times, and found the service to be most often top notch, the food was decent, and well priced. Another bonus to it all, as it was my Birthday while we were there the resort gave me all sorts of free stuff! It was really nice :)

With a public bus stop just outside the campsite and an offered shuttle bus to the Vatican this camp site is a must. Either tent, van, bungalow or chalet it has what you need and a pool, restaurant, bar and shop. Or a big supermarket just across the road. Handy and clean.

We stayed in one of the chalets for 6 nights, it was clean and cosy and had comfortable beds and a piping hot shower. The campsite facilities were great including the pool and bar, but we didn't really enjoy the €6 breakfast and would instead opt for one of the fresh pastries and a coffee off the bar for half the price.
The location wasn't city central of course but the €24 travel ticket available from the info-office got us everywhere we needed by bus and metro.
The campsite did get a little noisy with younger travellers enjoying themselves in the evenings but tended to settle around midnight as the cheap beer and sunstroke caught up on the little blighters.
The campsite has airport transfers for €11 to fiumecino which I would highly recommend as the airport taxi charged us €48!
Overall would highly recommend for an outdoorsy traveller on a budget.
