Our 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment in Rome was wonderful! It was very clean and well furnished and we really liked having the washer and dryer in the apartment. It was also nice to have the A/C as our time there was very hot. Shirley was so helpful!
We were visiting our son who is studying in Rome and this apartment was a 2 minute walk from where he lives. Very quiet neighborhood.
We have already recommended this apartment to a friend. Rome can be noisy and overly busy so retiring to this apartment near the Vatican and the Tiber - gave us the best of both worlds. As a sanctuary it is well appointed and equipped and the downstairs bedroom has lovely light and views. The open plan kitchen - living space is not that large but you are not likely to be entertaining large groups of friends. We visited as a family with two teenagers and all liked the place and neighbourhood.
As you come down to the buildings facing the Tiber and turn towards Travestere and walk down the road for 10 minutes or less there are a couple of good restaurants heavily used by locals and enjoyed by us.
The apartment has 2 proper bedrooms and bathrooms so it is very comfortable. We found the location excellent as it is very quiet but still easily accessible to favourite places such as Campo Di Fiori. Rodolfo was eager to help and this was very convenient as we do not speak Italian and welcomed his assistance. We stayed for over a week in Rome and are returning to the apartment very soon.
If you want an atmospheric and comfortable stay in Rome I highly recommend this beautiful apartment with fine views over an historical area close to the Tiber River.
This was my second stay in four months at this beautiful apartment and I have already reserved it for this coming November. The friendliness and efficiency of Rodolfo upon arrival, his willingness to make everything as comfortable and convenient as possible, the remarkable location, the views from the bedrooms, the modern bathrooms all make this a perfect vacation rental. An additional plus is the washer & dryer in the apartment which allowed me to bring half of what I would normally pack for a trip, leaving room in my luggage for Venchi chocolates and La Tazza D'Oro coffee! As an older woman traveling alone, I never once felt unsafe in this neighborhood or apartment. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Rome who wants to be in the great neighborhood of Trastevere, close to fabulous restaurants, shops, sights. I can't wait to return. And Rodolfo is great!
