“Free upgrade and free airport pick up”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 March 2011

Found this hotel on the internet and decided to book directly via their website as it turns out that they have very good offers from there. We had booked a deluxe room but had a free upgrade with the room offer to executive room on the 2nd level with huge bed and jacuzzi bath. Including in the price we also got a free airport pick us with private driver that took us to the hotel. In all a wonderful stay in a wonderful place.

Me and my wife had such a great weekend at this hotel. The street is small and you don't see any big hotel sign outside but once you have arrive everything comes clear. It turns out that this little cute street is in the middle of ancient rome making it easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. We found the amenities on the 4 floor the best with the fireplace turned on in the cold evening. The garden is amazing and we talked about booking the rooms up there this summer comming with the whole family. Call the hotel for reservation as the point me out some good deals on their web

Just got back from Rome, stayed at this hotel at the recommendation of the many people on here who gave excellent reviews. Excellent hotel in an absolutely fantastic location in a quiet back street, you will not be disappointed. Read one review about graffiti on the walls of the street, yes there is a small amount but compared to the rest of Rome which is absolutely smoothed in it its hardly worth a mention.

We booked 3 rooms as the whole family was meeting in Rome! Each room we had was different from each other and everybody in our group agreed that the place was wonderful. The showers in the rooms are particulary powerfull meaning you don't want to leave it. The breakfast room was nice way to start the day with fireplace warming us up. We went up for afternoon snack one of the night and we ended up sitting there the whole night in blend with relaxing lounge music. Ideal family and honeymoon hotel right in the middle of everything.

its no wonder this hotel it included in "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". We booked a deluxe room, but was upgraded to the Master Garden, a nice sized room with it's own garden (shared with one other room, but each having its private area). The service is impeccable. Breakfast delightfull, and espresso so good/spice/strong, as can only be found in Italy...
The communal areas are VERY well kept, and beautifully designed. It made us consider remodelling our place at home :-)
The breakfast room which acts as a bar at night, has a nice fireplace (gas, but looks very cosy and realistic, took us two days to discover it was gas driven), and basically everything is just wonderfull.
About the flaws, not to scare you away from this hotel, which we will mostly likely re-visit if we go back to rome.
First little issue, which I am not certain is this hotel only, or a commen issue in Italy/Rome, but to my surprise was I asked to sign a blank "Mastercard slip", i.e. basically forced to trust my entire credit limit to the hotel. I paid in full three days in advance (4 nights stay), so I find it quite rude to distrust me in this manner, and in over 200 hotel visits, I have never experienced this. However, I am glad I trusted the hotel (thanks to good reviews) and we stayed here, maybe it's just a silly italian thing. In the future however, I think I will arrange to have a backup hotel, and simply leave under protest to this method. (in comparison, most other hotels simply "reserve" a certain deposit amount on the credit card).
Secondly, the room had signs of wear and tear (call reception and they fix any real problem in minutes), but all in all, we felt like royalties and might return if we go to Rome again :)

We have found our new home in Rome. This hotel is just amazing. Located in small street with no traffic in walking distance from everything important you want to visit in Rome. The front desk arrange a ticket to the vatican that made us skip all lines. Comming "home" in the afternoon was like turning back to friendly home telling the girl at the desk our whole expirience of our day in the city. We will be back soon that's for sure.

We can honestly confirm that this hotel is one of the nicest place you can find in Rome. 3 min walk to Colloseum make this hotel a top location. The room was huge with jacuzzi bath and powerful shower. The bed was big and the linen were beautiful. We loved the up stair facilities and the free snack buffet was a good end after a day in the city. The staff could not have been any better ready to answer and organize whatever asked. True 5 star service.
