We stayed here 4 nights early April, and were very impressed with the service. Right from the moment I booked (it is advisable to book direct on the hotel website, which I found offered the best room prices, rather than via booking.com or such websites), the hotel supplied helpful information as well as the offer of a free transfer from the airport, as we were staying more than 2 nights.
On arrival we were upgraded to the garden room, which has a small terrace and access to the roof garden at the rear.

The room was lovely though would benefit from some attention to fixings and fixtures, especially in the bathroom. Friends of ours stayed in one of the standard rooms and an executive room respectively, and both of those were as roomy as the garden room, though lacking a view. But if you go to the 4th floor, you can see quite far across Rome from the roof terrace along the front of the hotel.

The breakfast is very varied, and is served from a very early 06.45 to 10.30 am. Complimentary pastries and water are available during the afternoon, and are followed by a selection of snacks, which are served between 5.30 and 8.00 pm, and are free if you order a drink from the bar. Both the waiting staff and the receptionists are very helpful and friendly.

One thing that was missing, was complimentary water in the rooms, and though the tap water was perfectly drinkable, it did taste a bit odd. Our friends bought some bottles in the tiny off-licence shop around the corner.

Last but not least, the location was superb, a stroll away from the colosseum and the forum, but in a nice a quiet side street off the beaten track. The Vatican was about 40 minutes walk away, while the trip to the airport took only 30 minutes.

I spent a week here with my 12-year-old daughter. The hotel was nearly perfect. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was small by American standards but a good size by European standards. The bathroom was clean, modern, and functional. The breakfast on the roof every morning was tasty and plentiful. The cryptoporticus is striking. And the hotel is very well located (a three-minute walk to the Roman Forum, a five-minute walk to the coliseum, and a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Spanish steps, the Pantheon, and the Campo di Fiori market.) Monti is a cute neighborhood, with a vibrant street scene at night, but the hotel is on a side block that insulates it from all of the street noise.

The walls between the rooms are a little thin, the rooms could use more electrical outlets, and the sheets and towels could use a refreshing. But all of these are truly minor, and do not detract from a fantastic place to stay.

Room Tip: The two rooms on the top floor open onto a semi-private garden. I'm told they're more expen...

Our third time to this hidden gem! We stayed here for 3 wonderful nights at the end of our 24 day honeymoon. We had one of the executive rooms on the third floor overlooking the quite street. Wonderful staff, great breakfast, and cozy romantic rooms. If you book on their website an executive room you will have a transfers to or from the FCO airport. A nice added bonus. This is our Rome hotel away from home! Looking forward to visit number Quattro !

Very small hotel in the heart of Rome. Friendly and personal service as you'd expect from such a small hotel. The rooms are beautiful. I was upgraded to a larger room with a sofa and view of the street. The crypt was interesting to have a look at and the view from the roof top terrific. There is even a small garden on the other side of the roof. I'd love to go back again. One minor imperfection is that the internet signal was not very good in my room.

Room Tip: Ask for a street side room (this may be an upgrade).

I was looking forward to seeing Rome as it is my favourite city in Europe but The Inn made my visit into something amazing. The service on arrival straight away was welcoming and happy. They took our bags to our room and when I went in I couldn't have been happier. Never have the pictures on a hotels website been so accurate to how you find the rooms when you get there. An incredible four poster bed, sky TV that can change to English, a Jacuzzi bath and room service. The rooms were turned down twice daily and I never had any problems with items going missing, the staff were so friendly I never even worried about it as you can in some other hotels. The staff were always on hand to help and we're happy to do so. They helped us with booking tickets for the sites and directions to the best restaurants in Rome. The hotel is beautiful as well very well decorated and the roof terrace in the sun is gorgeous. The greatest thing despite all of these others is the location. Directly next to the roman forum and less than five minutes from the colosseum. The only issue was a weaker wife signal in our room but that was so inconsequential and the staff did their best to help. Genuinely the best hotel experience of my life I will be visiting again.

Very cute and charming hotel right where you want to be in Rome. The roman Forum is a five minute walk, coliseum 10 min walk, Pantheon 15 minute walk, Trevi Fountain 15 minute walk, Vatican accessible via public transit. Hotel is set on quiet and charming cobble stone street. Everyone was friendly but we can not give enough praise to Valentina who works serving the breakfast in the morning. Valentina was such a delightful, helpful, and charming person and is a true asset to this hotel - she really made our stay a memorable one!

I recently stayed at the Inn with my husband and two children and I must say that the place is terrific. The property is a small wonder in itself, complete with part of the Roman forum downstairs and a small garden upstairs! And did I forget to mention the balcony with a view of Piazza Venezia? The inn is also centrally located (literally 5 minutes from the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia and many more) in a quaint and beautiful neighborhood.
The staff was extremely friendly and personal, helping us every morning to find the best restaurants and sites in town. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, I could go on and on but I'll end with saying thank you for making our stay absolutely wonderful!
