Stayed here in April 2014 for 4 nights. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly receptionist who welcomed us with a couple of glasses of cold juice whilst we checked in (very much needed after our flight and transfer). The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Ancient Rome, tucked up a little side street, it's behind part of the Roman Forum and a short walk to the Colosseum. We didn't take public transport once, in fact it's only a 15 minute walk back to the main train station. Our room was beautiful. Extremely comfy bed and a whirlpool bath that was very much needed to soak our muscles after hours of walking around the city. Free wifi was very handy too. Breakfast is served on the top floor in a lovely lounge but you also have the option to sit on the roof terrace which boasts amazing rooftop views. You can also enjoy a glass of wine up there in the evening, and if you order a drink between certain hours you can help yourself to the yummy finger buffet. Breakfast is also a buffet but you're offered fresh coffee and eggs whichever way you want them. We also received freshly made smoothies on a couple mornings which were delicious. I literally can't fault the hotel. If you're looking for a room with a view then this isn't the hotel for you but it really doesn't matter because you can have the views if you chill on the terrace which is a lovely sun-trap in the evening. The hotel also has its own piece of Ancient Rome in it, just behind reception you can visit the cryptoporticus which is fascinating. Rome is amazing but this hotel certainly made our stay that much more special, I would very highly recommend it, it was the icing on the cake for us.

Room Tip: There are rooms that open onto the terrace that I imagine might be nice depending on whether you hav...

This was my second time at the Inn and I was not disappointed. The first time we went with my extended family to celebrate my moms birthday. This time I went with my boyfriend and its just perfect for any occasion.

My best thing about this hotel is that the staff is so nice and helpful. And of course the amazing rooftop terrace where we had breakfast (which offers a great selection of foods) every morning and drinks to almost every sunset. The rooms are nice, modern and clean. I think we got upgraded cause we got a much bigger room than we booked. The location is also so great, we didn't take a transport once. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to splurge on a wonderful stay with a friendly and private feel!

Room Tip: If you like to sleep late I recommend asking for a room on the higher floor or not against the small...

The Inn is located in an unmarked, unassuming building just yards from the Roman Forum. This 12 room hotel has a rooftop sitting/dining area and serves breakfast daily as well as having a "happy hour" in the evening. The excellent staff is focused on service and is very accommodating. Rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. The biggest plus is the location. The Forum is literally a few steps away, Being near the city center, nearly everything is walking distance away. We initially had a room near the elevator but discovered a leaky shower and were offered another room. Small issues like a phone that didn't allow out calls and burned out light bulbs were promptly dealt with. Overall, this is a very nice place to spend a few nights while enjoying this wonderful city!

A 5 star, romantic experience in a hotel perfectly situated in the wonderful city of Rome.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Inn at the Roman Forum for 4 nights recently, and couldn't have timed our trip any better with the sunshine often peaking 26/27 degrees in the afternoon. The Inn is tucked away on a side street, literally 2 minutes from the Roman Forum and 5 minutes from the Colloseum. In the surrounding streets are restaurants and bars, while a local shop is a 2 minute stroll away too. The Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are equally within walking distance (15-20 mins) too.

We stayed in Room 103 on the first floor and on arrival we were treated to a complimentary mini-dessert while the porter took our bags to our room. When we walked through the door, we felt the wow factor! A giant and comfortable bed, marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath as well as a separate seating area - perfect for what we needed.

Every night between 5-8pm there is a complimentary buffet, provided you buy a drink from the bar - and the outside terrace on which you can eat breakfast and the buffet, catches the afternoon sun perfectly.

Breakfast was served until 10am every morning and consisted of a continental breakfast as well as eggs to order, and was plentiful in setting us up for the day. The service from the staff is second to none and nothing is too much trouble for any of them.

This hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway, and worthy of its 5-star rating - we will definitely be returning!

Room Tip: Pay the little extra to upgrade to a deluxe/ when booking - there's nothing quite like soaking i...

well appointed rooms, high end finishes. very "old world" feel. down a side street and somewhat tucked away, but in a great location built over the forum ruins. close to the coliseum and other major attractions. included breakfast was fantastic, and snacks in the pm also a nice touch. bellman william and reception guilia both went above and beyond.

Room Tip: we stayed in an executive suits--one of the larger rooms. did not see the smaller rooms.

We stayed here 4 nights early April, and were very impressed with the service. Right from the moment I booked (it is advisable to book direct on the hotel website, which I found offered the best room prices, rather than via booking.com or such websites), the hotel supplied helpful information as well as the offer of a free transfer from the airport, as we were staying more than 2 nights.
On arrival we were upgraded to the garden room, which has a small terrace and access to the roof garden at the rear.

The room was lovely though would benefit from some attention to fixings and fixtures, especially in the bathroom. Friends of ours stayed in one of the standard rooms and an executive room respectively, and both of those were as roomy as the garden room, though lacking a view. But if you go to the 4th floor, you can see quite far across Rome from the roof terrace along the front of the hotel.

The breakfast is very varied, and is served from a very early 06.45 to 10.30 am. Complimentary pastries and water are available during the afternoon, and are followed by a selection of snacks, which are served between 5.30 and 8.00 pm, and are free if you order a drink from the bar. Both the waiting staff and the receptionists are very helpful and friendly.

One thing that was missing, was complimentary water in the rooms, and though the tap water was perfectly drinkable, it did taste a bit odd. Our friends bought some bottles in the tiny off-licence shop around the corner.

Last but not least, the location was superb, a stroll away from the colosseum and the forum, but in a nice a quiet side street off the beaten track. The Vatican was about 40 minutes walk away, while the trip to the airport took only 30 minutes.
