“Best hotel in Rome”
Reviewed 11 March 2011

We can honestly confirm that this hotel is one of the nicest place you can find in Rome. 3 min walk to Colloseum make this hotel a top location. The room was huge with jacuzzi bath and powerful shower. The bed was big and the linen were beautiful. We loved the up stair facilities and the free snack buffet was a good end after a day in the city. The staff could not have been any better ready to answer and organize whatever asked. True 5 star service.

Ive used trip Advisor for my last few breaks abroad and have to say it has yet to let me down. Have just spent 3 days in Rome and can honestly say that this is the best hotel ive stayed in yet. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite due to an over-booking, and for our 'perceived' inconvenience we were given a free taxi for our return trip to the airport which would ahve cost about 40 euros. The room was superb, luxurious, large, massive bed, jacuzzi bath, and our own private garden on the roof terrace. I could go on, but a special mention to the staff who were friendly and extremely helpful at all times. If I go back to Rome I wont look anywhere else. The location is perfect, and a 5 minute walk from the Collesium and main City Centre. Take my advice and book your stay here..Simples !!

We loved our stay at this hotel. It's located in a little street behind Forum and you can't get more central than this. We booked a classic room but up on arrival we got to see some other room type and decided to upgrade our self for some extra as this was a special trip for us. The rooms are lovely and everything is kept really clean. Ask the front desk lady for the little trattoria in monti street it was the best restaurant during our trip. We will for sure be back.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn at the Roman Forum in October. Yes, I am late in my review. We could not have been more pleased. You are a mere blocks away from the Roman Forum but it is located on a small quiet street. We could walk just about everywhere from the location.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. It was a wonderful place to come back to at the end of a long day of walking and just relax. The breakfast was also excellent. We did not realize breakfast was served until our third day. We really regretted having missed it the first two mornings.

We cannot say enough about the staff. They were friendly and helpful. In fact, I lost my cell phone in our room. I did not realize it until we got the next location. I called and the staff could not find it. A couple of days later, I got a call from the front desk that they had found my phone. They shipped it to our next location. They went above and beyond.

An excellent hotel.

Wow. Upgraded room (no charge) on arrival. Wonderfully helpful staff recommended a top class restaurant for dinner on the 14th.
The breakfast area is charming, with a great choice of hot and cold food. There was a fire lit, but in the summer I guess sitting on the roof terrace is even better. There were also free 'nibbles' available there in the evenings.
Taxis arrived 3 or 4 minutes after asking reception. Although the hotel is very conveniently central we liked to taxi off and then take all day strolling back again. Stopping to eat and drink on the way!

Our experience at the Inn has been really positive. We've been literally pumpered by the staff during our sta; Hildur upgraded us to an Executive room. We felt the friendly atmosphere and it was like being at home... Very good.

If you value sleep and quiet, this is not the place for you. The hotel is loud. Very loud. The layout, the marble floors and the service staff who don't seem to mind slamming doors talking loudly contribute to a wholly unrelaxing stay!

This is no five star hotel!
