Our party of 5 spent 5 wonderful nights in Rome at this motel. Its location is great for getting to the Metro and while it is a bit of a walk to some of the main attractions it can be done without too much trouble unless you get sick of walking then you can get a taxi. The staff as has been mentioned in many reviews make your stay one that is to be remembered, they cannot help enough. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff would get our coffees ready the minute they saw us walk in. The staff were chatty without being intrusive and we had some great laughs with them, and the porter would get upset if he saw us try and take our bags ourselves. We cannot thank everyone there enough for making our stay with them worthwhile and a highlight.

Room Tip: As mentioned before if you have any back issues ask for a mattress topper when you make your booking...

We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Doreen was very helpful in making recommendations for us and helping us get to the various places we wanted to see. The breakfast buffet was first rate and the room was more than adequate.

I cant praise the staff or the hotel enough, I had an excellent comfortable stay with a lovely room. The staff were so pleasant and could not do enough to make sure we had an excellent rome experience. from booking of restaurants to giving advise on where to see I was very impressed by the staff. the hotel itself was so clean and well presented, the breakfast was excellent.

I found the location excellent as there was a few lovely places to eat close by babbos being one. if you feel like treating yourself visit Tazio Ristorante for a cocktail but bare in mind they will be around 16-18 euro but i doubt you will ever taste better.

all in all brilliant and wouldnt hesitate about going back again!!

Room Tip: We stayed in a superior room and it had a large balcony but i think it may have been the only one in...

Our first experience in a European hotel. Stayed for 2 nights at the end of a Mediterranean cruise. Great location within walking distance of all public transportation: bus, taxis, subway & train. Doreen provided good instructions for using the subway & city buses so that we successfully traveled to other parts of the city for nominal fares. Also several good restaurants within walking distance. Airport transportation, arranged by the hotel, was prompt & courteous. Staff was gracious & extremely helpful, especially Doreen. Free breakfast in a cozy dining room was excellent with everything from cold/hot cereal to scrambled eggs & bacon, pastries/bread, variety of juices & coffee. Hotel is small, very clean & very quiet. Mini bar stocked with complimentary soft drinks was a welcome touch. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: We selected this hotel because it was one of very few that offered a king size bed.

We visites Rome only for three days. The hotel staff helped us all from the very beginning. As we travelled with a toddler, they recommended us the room at the mezazine level of the hotel, which at the end we realised how comfortable it was for my mom who is not the fit anymore and my toddler.

The room was spacious and clean. The bath room was clean and large. Since there were four of us (3 adults and 1 child) we had 2 extra beds. They apparently don't have a baby cott but my daughter could sleep very well in the king size bed with me.

The location of the hotel was the first important thing that makes this hotel a top hotel. Its located just a few minutes away from Termini station. And the shopping streets, like via Nazionale is just around the corner.

Another top reason was the vriendly and helpfull staff. This is what i also find very important when you stay at a hotel. It just makes your stay more comfortable and enjoyable i suppose.

The breakfast was ok. When you want to dine in the evening, you can just walk around the streets near by and you will find some tratoria. Cheap but you will taste that real pasta and pizza that you will never taste in your home country.

I dont really have a bad experience when i stay at this hotel. Will certainly come back!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is very close to Termini station, the rooms and property are clean, the staff is helpful, and the breakfast is great. Yes, the rooms are small, but that is to be expected in Europe. The bed was comfortable and I had a relatively large shower with a spa/tub (that I didn't use). There are less expensive options in this area, but beware of the street noise. This hotel is at the end of the street and I never heard a car or loud music. This is a very good and moderately priced hotel. I recommend it for individuals, couples, and small groups/families.

This is the first time I feel I've been steered very wrongly by a rating on tripadvisor. The hotel is rated in the top 20 in Rome, but doesn't live up to that rating. The property itself is fine and the rooms are decent and clean, but it's not a great location.

It's in an area with a lot of other 3-star hotels and there are very few restaurants on the same street. Any good ones are at least a ten minute walk away. That wouldn't be a big deal, but at night the area is kind of deserted so it's not the most comfortable area to walk around. Perhaps it's not dangerous, but you don't get a good feeling. For example, of the few people we saw on the street were a group of kids sitting outside a liquor store drinking. It's not exactly something you'd expect to see a half block from a top twenty hotel.

The staff was sort of friendly but seem intent on going through a list of items they were trying to sell despite what I thought was our obvious lack of interest. A specific annoyance was the offer of a private car to the airport for only 50 Euro given the fact that the hotel is very close to Termini station and the Express Train to the airport which is faster and cheaper than a car. The staff member also almost seemed upset that I'd chosen a room without breakfast and tried on two separate occasions (the second at a reduced rate) to get me to buy the hotel breakfast.

It's a decent hotel, has nice features, but the location earns it a much lower rating.

Dear guest,

we are truly sorry that your experience with us has turned out to be not the best to your liking.

We are rated within the top 20 hotels for many reasons, above which lies our complete dedication to our customers and, of course, the location in which we are positioned.

Our property is directly ranked by our guests on sites like Trip Advisor, Booking.com and many other, and reach the top 20 in Rome among more than 1000 hotels thanks to their detailed reviews about their experience in our property. Such a high position is based on a quality/price/location ratio.

It is true that being located in the very centre of Rome is considered a highly rated privilege. As we are placed in a very easy-to-reach and move-around area, you have fast access to dozens of busses just around the corner, both A and B tube lines (Repubblica, Castro Pretorio and Termini are the nearest tube stations) and even trains as Stazione Termini, our international railway train station, is walking distance less than half-mile away.

Also, we are surrounded by many archeological sites and points of interest. Some of them are just at our doorstep (like Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Terme of Diocleziano) while other main sites like Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi or the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali, are within 20 to 25 minutes walking distance.

This is why is more than obvious and predictable that the area is regularly frequented by all type of people of any age, from any kind of culture and country. This is what usually happens in big multi-ethnic and multi-cultural metropolis.

This is actually a very lively area with many restaurants, pubs, cafés’ and bars open until late. Some of the restaurants are average and some are 5 stars but, whether they are good or not, is left to everyone’s personal taste.

We cannot say why you had met some people drinking. We can only underline that this is quite common anywhere in the world where there is nightlife and, besides, this is something that goes beyond our control.

Regarding our suggestions about the car transfer to and from the airport and the breakfast deal, we can only say that, what you have considered annoying and redundant, is what we define Great Customer Service.

Our staff would never approach and ask repeatedly our clients to buy anything they do not want. It is not in our policy. Mainly, our staff knows that most of our customers travel with more than a cabin size luggage and, often, they need a safe, reliable and fast transfer from/to Fiumicino airport for a convenient (for Rome’s prices) flat rate of 50€ all incl..

Yes, the train might be cheaper and faster for 1 person only. But if you travel in more than one, than 16€ each is not that cheap. Also, if after a flight, you have to walk to the train station in Fiumicino (about 15 minutes walk depending on the Terminal you are landing) and then from Termini to your hotel, carrying around all your luggage yourself, then you might get very tired and waste lots of time just wandering around. The benefit of booking a private mini-cab, you find it in the type of traveler you are, how much time you have, your age and, of course, in how many people are traveling all together.

For obvious polite manners, we don’t force anyone to choose anything they do not want or need and we would not insist. We normally only present to our newly arriving guests, all the valid and reliable alternatives that we recommend for a deep and fulfilling experience of our city.

Then, if you have been asked twice about the breakfast, we apologize. But we found strange that you have been offered twice to purchase our breakfast, especially the second time at a “reduced rate” as there is no such option. If it’s not included in your room rate -as in your case- our receptionist will offer you our standard in-house price for the breakfast which comes already discounted. That’s all.

We can assure you that none of our staff would be upset if you decide not to opt for our breakfast. We just follow some standards in order to make you stay with us the more comfortable and smooth as possible, to let you enjoy in total relax your Roman holiday.

We hope you will try us once more in the future so to show you that we are genuine in our approaches and transparent in our policies.

We are always grateful for any review, even if negative, so to help us improve more and more every day.
