My family and I had a marvelous stay at Hotel Diocleziano. The staff is unbelievably warm, friendly, and go way out of their way to be helpful. It started the moment we checked in. A half hour later, I blew an electrical device (USA voltage) and someone from maintenance was up in a few minutes and fixed our problem immediately. (The device, however, was shot.) The room was probably the cleanest I have ever been in in any hotel. It was also quite spacious. We had a double room with a cot as we had my 16 year old daughter with us and we were not cramped. The bathroom was beautifully large so two people can get dressed at the same time.

Twice, I had to miss going down to breakfast and my husband came up with a tray filled with all the foods I ate in the past few days. I asked if he picked them out and he said the wonderful women who run the buffet noticed what I ate and fixed the tray. You won't find that level of service in many hotels unless you pay a fortune. It is also great to have a mini fridge filled with beverages at no cost to you. We did not use the gym but did peek at it. It was well equipped and sparkling clean with towels and water available. Nice touch.

The hotel is centrally located and a five minute walk to Termini Station. The neighborhood is quiet with many great restaurants within a few minute's walking distance. I think one of the reasons why this hotel is so personal is because it only has 35 rooms. This way, the staff can offer personalized service. We stayed seven nights and will stay again if I am fortunate enough to return to Rome. Arrivederci.

This small, cozy welcoming.
Very clean, very good breakfast.
The minibar is free, open source web servers.
Quiet hotel, a total of four floors.
Walking distance of 3 m from the main station of Rome.
We arrived early in the morning, however we got the room.
We asked for breakfast alternative to her guest the day of departure and it allowed us.

Room Tip: The hotel is very quiet, however staff Helpful in everything requested

Our party of 5 spent 5 wonderful nights in Rome at this motel. Its location is great for getting to the Metro and while it is a bit of a walk to some of the main attractions it can be done without too much trouble unless you get sick of walking then you can get a taxi. The staff as has been mentioned in many reviews make your stay one that is to be remembered, they cannot help enough. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff would get our coffees ready the minute they saw us walk in. The staff were chatty without being intrusive and we had some great laughs with them, and the porter would get upset if he saw us try and take our bags ourselves. We cannot thank everyone there enough for making our stay with them worthwhile and a highlight.

Room Tip: As mentioned before if you have any back issues ask for a mattress topper when you make your booking...

We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Doreen was very helpful in making recommendations for us and helping us get to the various places we wanted to see. The breakfast buffet was first rate and the room was more than adequate.

I cant praise the staff or the hotel enough, I had an excellent comfortable stay with a lovely room. The staff were so pleasant and could not do enough to make sure we had an excellent rome experience. from booking of restaurants to giving advise on where to see I was very impressed by the staff. the hotel itself was so clean and well presented, the breakfast was excellent.

I found the location excellent as there was a few lovely places to eat close by babbos being one. if you feel like treating yourself visit Tazio Ristorante for a cocktail but bare in mind they will be around 16-18 euro but i doubt you will ever taste better.

all in all brilliant and wouldnt hesitate about going back again!!

Room Tip: We stayed in a superior room and it had a large balcony but i think it may have been the only one in...

Our first experience in a European hotel. Stayed for 2 nights at the end of a Mediterranean cruise. Great location within walking distance of all public transportation: bus, taxis, subway & train. Doreen provided good instructions for using the subway & city buses so that we successfully traveled to other parts of the city for nominal fares. Also several good restaurants within walking distance. Airport transportation, arranged by the hotel, was prompt & courteous. Staff was gracious & extremely helpful, especially Doreen. Free breakfast in a cozy dining room was excellent with everything from cold/hot cereal to scrambled eggs & bacon, pastries/bread, variety of juices & coffee. Hotel is small, very clean & very quiet. Mini bar stocked with complimentary soft drinks was a welcome touch. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: We selected this hotel because it was one of very few that offered a king size bed.

We visites Rome only for three days. The hotel staff helped us all from the very beginning. As we travelled with a toddler, they recommended us the room at the mezazine level of the hotel, which at the end we realised how comfortable it was for my mom who is not the fit anymore and my toddler.

The room was spacious and clean. The bath room was clean and large. Since there were four of us (3 adults and 1 child) we had 2 extra beds. They apparently don't have a baby cott but my daughter could sleep very well in the king size bed with me.

The location of the hotel was the first important thing that makes this hotel a top hotel. Its located just a few minutes away from Termini station. And the shopping streets, like via Nazionale is just around the corner.

Another top reason was the vriendly and helpfull staff. This is what i also find very important when you stay at a hotel. It just makes your stay more comfortable and enjoyable i suppose.

The breakfast was ok. When you want to dine in the evening, you can just walk around the streets near by and you will find some tratoria. Cheap but you will taste that real pasta and pizza that you will never taste in your home country.

I dont really have a bad experience when i stay at this hotel. Will certainly come back!
