“quality hotel in convenient location”

Hotel is on side street so it is nice and quiet even being so close to the train station. Breakfast is incredible, can't think of a thing they didn't have. Rooms are very clean, staff is awesome. I really like this location in Rome as it is centrally located, easy to get to public transportation or staff will call you a cab. Most of the major sites are 30 minute walk, so save your feet and use the metro, only 1.5 euro per trip. Republica Circle is just around the corner with a beautiful fountain there. Our room had a huge jacuzzi tub, first I've ever seen in Europe.

Room Tip: Very small flag and sign near the door identify this hotel, so have a keen eye when looking for it t...

I stayed here for four nights during the summer and it was exceptional, we got an upgrade as soon as we arrived with a jacuzzi too! Food was gorgeous and the staff so friendly and helpful! It was in a perfect location near the Termini and as we were there during the hottest part of the summer we were eternally great flu for the air conditioning!

Hotel situated at a great location, a stone throw from the main Termini station. Room is spacious, clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent. However, what makes this hotel exceptional comparing to other hotels in the area is its services by its Front Desk staff. They make efford to get to know you and travel the distance to try assist you everyway they can. They even offered coffee to the driver who delivered my rental scooter and myself while completing our paperwork. It truely felt like a home away from home. Will no doubt stay there again when I am Rome next time.

5 minutes walk from Termini so really great for links to airport, metro and around Rome. It's also central so you can easily walk to the main attractions. About a half hour walk to most things except for the Vatican which you will need to get the metro. The hotel itself is superb. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are immaculately clean as well as having the usual things you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Our room also came with a jacuzzi which was good after all the walking that we did in the 4 days that we were there. We also had a mini bar. This was free to use... only soft drinks. The safe and the kettle were also used every day. In the morning breakfast was always excellent. I would be very happy to come back to this hotel if I'm lucky enough to go back to Rome.

This is a very pleasant property with an absolutely killer breakfast. Our room was very clean and relatively spacious, with a huge balcony (can't guarantee that for every room though). The Front Desk staff was accommodating and helped us with restaurant recommendations as well as travel recommendations. The breakfast, as mentioned, was extremely generous with a wide variety of meats and cheeses and fruits. The subject of location is in the eye of the beholder. It's very close to the train station, and the Diocletian Baths historic museum and site. It's not very close to anything else, which means your stuck either buying a tour bus ticket or taking a cab, and cabs in a big city can be hard to come by at certain hours. There's also not a lot of restaurant choices within walking distance. Thus - would I stay here again? Yes. Is it a good value? Yes. But my preference would be to be a little closer to the main sights of Rome should I visit again.

Very nice hotel with a excellent location (near from Termini Station). The front desk staff was very kind and helpful, specially Maria, who scheduled the tours to Florence, Naples and Pompei for me and my wife. Breakfast was very good too, and was served by a kind waitress (Marylou) who made fresh red orange juice and capuccino to us. The room is a bit small, but cosy. Io tornero` presto.

Nothing was too much trouble for the chaps at Hotel Diocleziano. Located 5 minutes from Termini station, the hotel offered great accommodation and a hearty breakfast.

Our room was comfortable with a tea tray and some soft drinks and water in the fridge too. The bathroom had a whirlpool bath and shower attachment. We did try out the bath, but it wasn't that great. A separate shower would have been better, but it was fine.

The breakfast was buffet style and there was a choice of pastries, toast, ham, eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruit, cereals and drinks.

We needed to print out our boarding passes and the receptionist just asked us to forward the attachments and we collected them at reception.

As identified by another Tripadvisor reviewer, the street near the hotel seems to be the local spot for gents? to urinate. I agree it is no fault of the hotel, but just a shame when you walk out of the front door and to the right.

For treats for family and friends pop to the local supermarkets; there is a spar at Termini. The prices will be much better than the airport.

There are a selection of restaurants around the area to cater for all tastes and pockets too. With the train station and metro right on your doorstep, the location is tough to beat.
