This hotel is located very close to Termini train station making it very convenient if moving around on train or metro. Given that its so close to the train station however the area is somewhat rough and there are many homeless people nearby. Also it is not within walking distance to a lot of the attractions in Roma such as the colosseum or vatican.

The room was clean and basic, and average size for hotels in Italy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We actually arrived well before check in and were given our room immediately which was fantastic. The room service food was average, but I would recommend going out instead.

This hotel is very conveniently located, close to termini. We were using the trains during our stay in Rome and this was very helpful. My husband and I stayed for two nights, and our room was comfortable and very clean! The front desk, Theodore and Allen were also very accommodating. Breakfast was good and the complimentary beverages in the room fridge was a nice touch. We left something in our room at checkout and the staff went out of their way to contact us and ship the item back to us in the US. Thank you again to the hotel staff for taking care of your guests even after checkout!! Highly recommend this hotel!

Despite being near Tremini train station, it was difficult to find on a side street without great signage. It is within walking distance to tourist stuff, but the area restaurants and shops are full of locals, not tourists.

We called once we felt completely lost, and the gentleman from the desk literally stood at the front door waving to us so we found it! That level of service continued throughout our stay. Great service, making reservations for us, providing recommendations of places to go and things to do, making sure we understood the train to Naples. They even set up the car from the airport, and were flexible enough to have him drop us at a meeting and then continue on to the hotel.

The room was spacious enough, and comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Shortly after we left for Capri, we received a call from them, that I had left my tablet behind. They figured out a cheap way to ship it to me in the States, and were very good at communicating. I now have my tablet, and wonderful memories of our trip to Rome!

Room Tip: Take advantage of the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff! They will ensure you have a great vac...

Spent two nights here in a nice room 001 fairly large with a small courtyard. Very close to Termini train station and walkable to a lot of attractions. Thanks Doreen at the front desk for all your help.

My wife and I stayed 3 days here and enjoyed every minute. We got the top floor room ( have to walk up one flight of stairs), and has a deck with views and an umbrella. Great breakfasts. Everyone spoke English. Fantastic workout/spa area. Lounge with choice of papers, and it has a small bar! Quiet neighborhood close to bus & train stations.

Room Tip: 5th floor room with outside deck was great if you don't have any mobility problems.

Our hotel was central to our visit to Rome: location 1 block from Termini train station. Walking distance to all the sites. Excellent bus and subway system. Fabulous breakfast spread every morning - appealing to all international visitors (hearty enough to carry you through the day). As an avid traveler, I strongly recommend Hotel Diocleziano for location, accessibility and fabulous breakfast spreads. Comfortable rooms, you'll get a great nights sleep to start you off on your Roman adventure. Worth checking out.

An absolutely fantastic find. Have been travelling to Rome on and off for twenty years and this is the hotel I will stay in from now on. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel most welcome and when I had to, unfortunately, call for a doctor early on Sunday morning they organised within the hour. Nothing serious and I was fine the next day but I was extremely grateful.

Travelled solo and was in Room 001 on the ground floor. A double bed facing the back of the hotel so it was very quiet and easy to sleep but in general the area was quiet even though it is only a couple of minutes' walk from Termini station and the Metro which makes getting around the city very easy. The room is a good size, has a safe, tea and coffee making facilities and a free soft drink mini bar!!

Breakfast was great. A huge selection. Everything from fruits to cold cuts to pastries and cheese with lots of team and coffee. As mentioned earlier the staff were fantastic. It has a small fitness centre and sauna, bar, room service and free Wi-Fi!!

I would recommend this hotel without reservation other than to say it is on the slightly expensive side but in my view it's worth every penny.
