A nice. cosy hotel near Termini station, the public transportat hub of Rome and relatively close to all tourist attractions. We went for a leisure vacation and found the hotel quite quiet, clean with a great, great staff and extra services for free ( which you usually dont receive in a hotel): free minibar, free wireless internet in the room and sometimes free coffee at the bar. A great value for money

This hotel is fantastic, tucked away on a quiet street but a few minutes walk from Termini station and Republicca metro station. Although the best way to see this fantastic city is to walk and take it all in. The hotel provides an excellent buffet breakfast serving a mixture of cold and hot buffet and an expansive selection of fruit.
The hotel staff are extremely helpful and Tomasso and Giodarno on Reception will give you their expert knowledge of where the best places to eat, drink. If you like Ice Cream then follow Tomasso's Advice and head for Fassi, The oldest and best Gelateria in Rome. Great experience and out of this world flavours.
The Rooms are clean and spacious and also provide a nice touch of providing complimentary soft drinks in the mini bar.
If sight-seeing doesn't wear you out then you can try the hotel's Gym, if the sight-seeing has worn you out then head for the sauna. The Gym and Sauna are free of charge, another thing free of charge is the internet usage, the hotel has computers in the lounge area but if you want information on Rome then ask Giodarno and Tomasso.
This hotel is excellent and probably the best i have stayed in Europe and without a doubt the best i have stayed in Rome. Thank you Diocleziano Hotel you made our holiday perfect

Spent 4 nights in this wonderful hotel at the end of January. Must say I liked 'everything' about it. Room was spotless, bed very comfortable, mini-bar with free soft drinks very welcome after a long day walking around Rome as was the option to have cup of tea/coffee. Room also came with small safe, free wi-fi and hair-dryer. Breakfast was a treat - good coffee with choice of breads, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, cereal - enough to energize us until dinner. Staff (not just the front office staff) were very friendly and helpful. Location good too - few blocks from train station and/or shuttle bus to airport. Would (will) stay there again without doubt.

Spent there 5 nights in February'11. Location is extremely good to any place in Rome (to/from airport, sightseeing places, outlet bus, subway..). Rooms are cozy and clean, well equipped, free minibar, wi-fi, safe box, kettle with tea/cookies, hair drier - everything included. Hotel is not big and that makes you feel very comfortable in common areas (breakfast, reception), no queues or noises. Hotel's staff is extremely helpful and attentive made our stay trouble free. Would stay again in that Hotel.

Stayed in Hotel Diocleziano for 3 days during CNY. The comments from fellow member are correct. The rooms are clean and spacious (in European standard) in a quiet neighborhood just outside Termini. The breakfast is enormous with hot dishes but not much fruit. Will stay at Hotel Diocleziano again if coming back to Rome.
