Our second visit to the hotel confirmed to us that it was one of the most amazing places to stay we have ever visited. Beautiful rooms (only 14, as I recall), amazing common spaces, lovely garden and rooftop, excellent food, and, best of all, great service from the staff at all levels (thank you, Francesca). It is reason in itself to visit Rome. Lovely location as well. This should be your first choice when considering hotels in Rome.

Room Tip: All seem great.

We visited Rome on our 1 week Italy trip and stayed 2 nights at the beautiful palazzo. The once privately owned villa was reformed in 2004 to become a small luxurious hotel with only 12 rooms (if I am not mistaken..), you feel like entering the home of a Nobel family with book collections and private photos in the large living room where you can enjoy a glass of wine or Prosecco while observing the beautiful garden and of course chill in the garden. The palazzo seems like a quiet oasis in busy Rome, you are in walking distance to many landmarks and historic sites. Our room had a generous size of bathroom with separate shower and tub and even a walking closet. The bedding was luxurious and wonderful to sleep in. The breakfast buffet beautifully presented and eggs at your choice prepared. The hotel has a small spa (what we didn't visit) and gym. A big plus is also the private parking space they have on their property. We would always come back!

Villa Spalletti Trivelli is very conveniently located to many of the popular sites, mere minutes walk from Trevi fountain and to the rest of Romas sites, yet is located in a quiet neighborhood. The staff are exceptional. Helpful and professional and so welcoming, you feel like an member of the family rather than just another paying customer. The facilities are world class, with excellent wifi. The rooms and indeed the entire hotel, were immaculate. The attention to detail in the villa is above any I've ever experienced EVER !!.
Our room was just a WOW, the last time I saw such a well appointed room was in a magazine, a free mini bar and refilled every day, Everything in the villa from the Library to all the sitting rooms with the huge comfy fat sofas,to the Tapestries and the old photos of the current family makes your stay truly unique, old world character and charm yet modern. If I had any thing bad to say was that our Stay was too short ! I will Highly recommended! and looking to get back to stay in this TRULY magnificent, wonderful villa, Thanks to all the professional staff for a very memorable 10 year anniversary.

Elegant suite with exceptional amenities. Three days here meeting grandson studying in Rome with lovely living room to entertain family and guest. Hotel staff incredibly helpful and kind managing my excitement and providing quiet place to greet my family. Elevator much appreciated to manage mobility problems. Courtesy of staff above par. Villa exudes quiet elegance at breakfast and dinner, providing opportunity to engage in conversation and enjoyment with loved ones. Staff couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. Thank you to all from a grateful Nana.

Room Tip: Suite if one can manage. Guessing all rooms are lovely.

We stayed at this classy little hotel for a week and loved our stay. We had the smallest room in the house, but it was plenty big for us, with two large windows, a king-size bed, ample closet space, and a large bathroom. There are several beautiful common rooms downstairs, where we spent several evenings having the complementary nightcap. The roof top patio, with 4 hot tubs, lounge chairs, and another complementary bar was a pleasure. It was magical standing there and gazing at the Rome's rooftops. The spa in the basement was luxurious! I wish we spent more time in the sauna and the hammam. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a large spread of cheeses, lunch meats, breads, fruits, and jams, and they made eggs and pancakes to order. It was like being on a luxury cruise.
Also, the entire hotel is so well taken care of! We saw a man polishing the antique furniture in the next room. Nothing looked old or worn-out. Just a pleasure throughout!
