“Spend $$ to appreciate”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014 via mobile

My fiancé made me walk 2km to this restaurant based on trip adviser reviews and an expectation of Chinese/Asian food. The menu did not appear Asian but the food is Asian inspired. Eg "grilled ravioli" was actually Gioza/dumplings.

Most dishes include seafood & only 2 dishes included rice. Couldn't find Fried rice on the menu.

The quality was good. The Gioza entrée was good value. The beef cheeks were delicious, but smallish serving. For the quality and price it was probably reasonable. This is a higher class restaurant and not a typical Chinese.

We restricted ourselves to the items that were ~10euro or less. There were numerous items in the 15-20euro range which were outside our budget. To fully appreciate this restaurant (share the entrees) expect to spend in the order of 20-40euros/person.

The service was very good and meals came out very quickly.

Larger servings, more variety and more Asian food like fried rice would be my feedback to the restaurant.

“Nice Chinese dishes in western style”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014 via mobile

As soon as we arrived the host handed us seaweed and salmon slice as an appetizer. It was too salty because of the soy sauce. We ordered a fish n shrimp spring roll which was not wrapped by traditional rice paper. It was deep fried with flour and came with the wasabi mayo. The texture was good and the seasoning was just right.
The second dish was seafood and fish soup. One if the clam was rotten other than that the soup was ok. The soup was dripped with spice oil but not stated in the menu. If someone who does not like spicy may be surprised when the dish arrive. The third dish was grilled prawn with asparagus which was my favorite but some of the asparagus was not peeled properly and hard to be chew off. The last dish was beef and again it was too salty because of the seasoned soy sauce. Overall this is not a tradition Chinese restaurant. If you are looking for an authentic one then this is not the choice. If you are looking for something new with a little Chinese taste, this will probably be your choice.

Gentili Clienti,

LIN

“Young and top ranking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 May 2014 via mobile

Who said a chinese cannot innovate? Try this. Not the new Escoffier of chinese cuisine but far better than the many among the best and pricey ones in continental Europe - Paris, Franfurt and Geneva included. LIN, the guy running the shop, calls it fusion. It's simply Chinese 3.0. A cuisine produced by a small multiracial team you can see behind the glass as you enter the once Sardinian tipical salami and pasta restaurant in tbis bourgeois corner of the Salario Trieste Coppedé neighborough in Rome. Blank high ceiling walls do not help, but you wont miss the fake chino paraphernalia. And the tradeoff you get in your dish proves it... limited menu, a few suggestions will bring you those oriental tastes an flavours you sometimes seek but deny yourself because a normal chinese takes its toll longer than wished. Not the case here. Give Lin a try.
