Excellent location (walking distance from the Vatican) is not all you get with your booking. Our room was very spacious and easily accommodating 3 people-including a queen bed, 2 single beds and a full kitchen. In also had a lovely large balcony with a spectacular view of Rome and the Vatican! The staff were helpful guiding us to the nearest grocery store without problem

Please note that the hotel is located a walk away from the metro station and is a bit difficult to reach by car. You will also have to purchase some basic amenities for your room including dish soap and paper towels since they do not come included.

Recommendation: ask for a room with a view!

This was our first trip to Rome. We found the accommodation very comfortable and value for money. The staff were very helpful as to where to eat and how to get to the sights. It was one block from a supermarket, in one direction, and one block from a street of restaurants and cafés, in the other direction. It was also approx four blocks from the Vatican. We found it very easy to walk from the centre of Rome to our accommodation with a 9 and 13 year old. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends.

Never again. Stayed in remo apartment for 5 nights at the end of a 3 week italian holiday. The apartment looked nothing like the video or pics online. Floor dirty. Linen scratchy. Left over toilet roll in bathroom. The shower flooded. The lady managing the place was very rude and unhelpful. The only pluses was the location and a very good a/c.

First of all accept our apologies if anyone of the staff has been rude to you, having said that, as you may see from the other reviews our streght is determined by the good attitude to all the guests.
Coming to the video on our web site, we have 11 Remo apartments in the building and therefore we are sorry about any discrepancy but our video cannot be shot in all them.
The apartment that was initially given to you has been changed upon your specific request because of the proximity with children.
We would like to point out that if there were any problems with your apartment you should have signaled that to our reception staff and we will have taken the proper steps to ensure your apartment would be clean and confortable.

We had an amazing two bedroom apartment with a beautiful kitchen and plenty of windows. I opened the window every night to hear the music and night sounds of the restaurant right outside, truly my favorite part of rome. Surrounded by lovely restaurants and great atmosphere, i would definitely recommend!!!

Spacious room with plenty storage, nice cold AC, functional kitchen with sufficient utensils. Thin walls especially on ground floor facing restaurant - bring earplugs. Laundry in basement. Good common area in the basement with a shower & computer if you are leaving later but want to hang around. Reception staff very helpful and obliging.

Location brilliant and safe. 10 minute walk to the Vatican. Many eateries (Hostaria Sora Franca with Al Pacino my favourite), souvenir shops and mini marts in vicinity. 20 minute walk to the nearest train station. Bus 40 (express) goes to Termini and makes a few stops near landmarks. Sit shuttle bus (red bus, platform3) from Fiumicino airport for 6euros each stops in a major street nearby and then walk to hotel 15mins.

Only bad - cleaning service happens on day 6 for stays >7days. We stayed 8 days but cleaning didn't happen. Room wasn't dirty as such, just sandy. 3euros for new towels.

Room Tip: Higher floors quieter. Rooms on hotel entrance side quieter

I stayed at the residence in August 2013. I was very satisfied with my experience as the rooms were very clean, the facility was nice, and the location was fantastic (plenty of restaurants nearby and the Vatican was a 15 minute walk away). I would definitely return!

we stayed for 2 days from the 15th of may 2014. our unit was lovely and clean . we had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a small kitchen where we could cook if we wanted to . why cook when you have lovely restaurants not far where a margherita cost only 5.50 euros .we had alovely time here and for us it was about a 12 min walk to the vatican ..we walked alot .if you take the bus tour take the red bus as there are more of them more often on the hop on hop off cost us about 15 euro each .worth it for the covenience. anyway getting back to the accomodation we had to check out at 10 but was not getting picked up by our transfer (disaster.read later) till 6pm no probelm as they have a fantastic area down stairs which consists of a secure lugage room a large lounge room a bathroom with a shower and a computer room ..so we could do more wandering around rome with the knowledge that our luggage was secure.they also have free wifi in the rooms came in handy....
as i said disaster with our transfer that never turned up which was arranged by our travel agent and paid for (dont pay in advance just book) so cost us by taxi to fumicino only 50 euro ..cheaper than the transfer booked , took about 40 min to get there ,bit of traffic.. anyway LORY helped in reception with our bungled transfer she couldnt be more pleasnt and obliging in everyway ,she even gave my uncle 2 euros to get a drink as he didnt have change ..any questions they are there to help you and it is fantastic friendly and professional assistance that they provide as they want you to enjoy your stay with them .. and experince rome in a safe environment .. yeah sure the walls can be a bit thin but i slept very well. we arrived and were delighted that tea and coffee were in the kitchen .the bathrooms where lovely as it was great to have a lovely hot shower after our travels..i would highly reccommend for you to stay here it really was a immaculately clean apartment where it is close to alot in rome and where the staff are there to provide fantastic service.. big hello to the staff especially lory ..thankyou for your kindness and help ciao lorene from australia

Room Tip: we had a lovely room looking over the school across the small road.. i think we were on the 4th floo...
