This was a great value, for a great room and place. The staff made our stay fabulous and the room and bathroom were spacious.

We stayed in Domus Livia when we arrived in Rome for 3 nights, we loved it and returned for our one night before flying out of Rome. After staying in less comfortable places, we basked in the air conditioninig and kept saying to ourselves that we loved Domus Livia on our last night there.

Sincerely great place to stay. Incredibly quiet, we didn't hear anything but the birds chirping in the morning, and if you sleep with the windows closed you won't even hear that.

Thank for giving us a comfortable place to wake up and come back to after pounding the streets all day. Loved this place.

Room Tip: Stayed in room 6, it was great!

The cost of the hotel was very reasonable and i checked the reviews on trip advisor before booking which all seemed ok, however upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a very nice and polite member of staff who told us they were sorry but they didnt actually have a room for us!!

They told us they had booked us in at a hotel around the corner for the first night (hotel zara) so we had to walk round the corner to this other hotel and we were checked into our room there. Bearing in mind i had booked this hotel specifically because it had wi fi and this other hotel did not have wifi. The lady had also told us to come straight back in the morning when we had finished breakfast at the hotel zara.

In the morning when we had finished our breakfast we went back to the hotel around 9am to then be told that they still didnt have a room and we would have to leave our luggage and check in that evening!! This is rubbish service considering we should of had a room for the whole of that day!! When we finally got to check in at 7pm that night the room wasnt great the shower tray was blocked and the wifi didnt work! The breakfast was pretty rubbish aswel its brought to your room and its just bread and juice!

The lady on reception was very helpful to us during our brief stay and advised us of some nice restaurants to eat in and places to make sure we visited, but that is the only good thing i have to say about the hotel. Will not be recommending or returning any time soon!!!

Room Tip: Book at a different hotel!!

I stayed at the Domus Livia for 2 nights prior to the Rome Marathon. The position was perfect, central and walking distance to most of the major monuments. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The equipped me with kettle etc night before to permit me to have breakfast very early on the morning of the marathon and allowed me to come back to hotel after check out time for a quick change before heading home after the marathon.

Will go back next year if I am in Rome again!

This location is superb! A very short walk to the Colosseum , Trevi & Spanish Steps. The street outside is buzzing with people late into the evening but we never heard anything from our room on the 5th floor.
We LOVED this hotel... the staff was very friendly, helpful and excellent assistance with maps, bus and train schedules. The room was large, clean and very comfortable
Was very nice to have after a long long day of walking the city!

Domus Livia provided a most perfect stay. The staff was extremely helpful and understanding, the rooms seemed brand new and were very clean. It is in a great central location, which made it very easy to get to all of the sights in the city. There is also an outdoor market around the corner during the day and at night the area is full of life; great restaurants/bars/shops. Would recommend this place to anyone!!
