“Cute little Italian hotel in a convenient location.”
Reviewed 13 June 2014 via mobile

This hotel is a block from the Termini train station. Our family had two rooms reserved for four days. They were both cute rooms on the 1st floor with windows that opened up to Rome. One room overlooked the opera house next door. The staff was helpful, even called to help get us reservations for some popular sites and gave us wake up calls promptly everyday. I appreciated that they spoke English, as well. The only problem we had is one room had a stand up shower stall that didn't drain properly. It really wasn't that big of a deal though, just wish we had a bath tub instead of a shower stall. The other room had a bath tub that was much better. The best part about the room was that the a/c worked great!!!!! After a hot day in the city walking around it's nice to come back to a cold room to chill out before going out again to dinner. We really liked this cute Roma hotel and appreciated the staff that helped us during our stay!

A fabulously priced hotel in a very convenient location. The rooms are extremely clean and well maintained, bed is comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic. If you are traveling to Rome to see the sights, this hotel is very close to the scenic bus routes and is a short walk away from the train station - very easy commute to and from the airport. The staff are also extremely friendly. Overall a wonderful hotel for a weekend getaway!

Overall there is little to fault this hotel. It is well situated in Rome, not far from the station. The staff were welcoming but always a little buddy at the front desk. There is a small lit to he four floor and had to walk up the final floor, but is is not a burden for most. Lovely seating area on the first floor amongst antiques and paintings. Breakfast is European eg cold meats, bread, yoghurt etc. there is a coffee machine which makes cappuccinos etc if desired. Our room on the top floor was on the small side but had a lovely balcony with views over the rooftops. The beds were comfortable but firm. The bathroom was fine, clean and hot water was plentiful.

Room Tip: If you can mange an extra flight of stairs ask for a room on the top floor with a balcony and roofto...

This hotel is well located near the metro train line. We booked a standard double room-this room was quite good & the included breakfast in the room rate was disappointing compared with those at previous hotels. The yoghurt & coffee came out of a machine-yoghurt was runny. The breakfast was more like a cafeteria than breakfast at a hotel. The rooms were very clean. On our last day we decided to buy our own breakfast out at a nearby cafe. A nice hotel but wouldn't rave about it. Laundry facilities would be good in all hotels but few have them. A kettle in the room would have been good too, but this seems standard in Italian hotels not to provide them.

Room Tip: Eat breakfast elsewhere, even though it is included in the room rate.

Overall the hotel was nice. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff was friendly and there was security at the door at all times. The breakfast was average. I would stay at this hotel again because of the location and cleanliness.

Booked this weekend for early May, hotel friendly, clean and room very comfortable. Problem with hair dryer, cut off every 10 seconds, reception sent someone to repair straight away but ended up with replacement. Breakfast was usual continental and filled up regularly. Very warm in breakfast room. Close to terminus, and we walked everywhere. Only used taxi to and from airport.

Room Tip: We had room 132 looked out front of hotel

The outside of the hotel is a bit unprepossessing but pleasant enough inside. Typical city hotel in that the 'spacious room' description was definitely exaggeration. Comfortable and clean with a reasonable sized shower room. Only real criticism of the room is that in order to open the windows (and that was the only way to open the shutters) we had to climb a rickety, unstable, wooden step contraption. The bonus was that if you were brave enough to to that (getting back down genuinely risky!), there was a little balcony with table and chairs.
Breakfast - adequate, virtually canteen style with urns of coffee, hot milk etc, cold meats not worth eating, processed cheese, yogurt (plain only) from dispenser, cornflakes mixed in with muesli. Orange squash rather than juice (despite what the picture on the machine suggests). Stick to rolls, boiled eggs butter and jam. OK at Booking.com price, rip off if full price.
