Great quality and for the value for the money. The location is a short walk from Termini Station, great restaurant next door (Babbo's) computer and WiFi in the room and wonderful accomodating service with a smile. What else do you need? Book it!

Room Tip: Our room was on the street but with a climate controlled room and double paned glass things were qui...

Aelius is about 10 minutes walk from Roma Termini and you hv to look out for Via Marsala when exiting Termini. It's not so easy to locate so it's best to ask for a street map from Termini's information counter and get specific directions to the B&B. The laptop in the room really helped as we could check the weather for the day and nearby restaurants. Breakfast was sufficient (croissants, cereal, toast, yoghurt, coffee, tea, juices) and the staff were accommodating. Kudos to Maria and her staff who served us breakfast on April 19 :) (can't remember her name). Would definitely stay here again!

My and my girlfriend stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and would gladly return if I were to visit Rome again! The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Termini train station and hence very easy to reach from the airport! Also, Piazza Repubblica is basically round the corner. From there one can catch the metro to almost all parts of Rome! The staff at Aelius is very friendly and helpful, ready to accomodate all your needs! Ok this might not be the luxury resort where you get a full blown buffet breakfast, but the breakfast is quite sufficient and filling! Rooms are warm, cosy and clean, free access to WiFi (which is very helpful to plan your holiday) and satellite TV.
I hope to return!

My wife and I stayed here for a three day break in late February 2012 and I cant have any complaints whatsoever.Clean well ran and a five minute walk from the Termini train station.
The pizza restaurant next door was wonderful.
A nice touch was the free use of a lap top in the room.
If you Brits are expecting a large breakfast it wont happen a small continental breakfast is served which is ample to keep you going for a couple of hours and you are served by a wonderful young lady (sorry we forget your name) who cant do enough for you.
Will return.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in February. The room & bathroom were very clean but very small, but I guess that is to be expected in Europe. There is an elevator/lift in the building but there is a small set of stairs that you need to climb first. The B&B is an apartment complex down the road from Termini station (we took the Terravision bus from Fumicino aiport and we got off at Via Marsala and from there walked down towards Via Volturno to the B&B). The breakfast area & reception are on the right side 2nd floor while our room was in the newly renovated 3rd floor on the left side of the building. We had to walk to the other building for breakfast. It was a modern room but like I said small, we had 2 suitcases so it was slightly cramped. It was about a 10-12 minutes walk from Termini station, which is decent.

The downside was that we had to figure everything out on our own. The day we left we realized that round the corner was the bus stop so sometimes it would have been taking the bus and getting off right in front of the hotel as opposed to walking from Termini (which looks dodgy) and it was cold and raining during the time we were there so we did not feel like walking too much. Like I said, would have been helpful knowing about the buses. We went to the Info counter at Termini and by Trevi fountain and they helped us with what to do and how to get somewhere.

Breakfast was typical of Italy - cereal, coffee, juice, croissant, cake, white bread, jam, honey, cream cheese and yogurt. No fresh fruit but breakfast would keep us full until the late afternoon.

Decent place to stay for the price, but I'm sure there are places closer to Termini which could offer the same thing and maybe a bigger room. On the other hand we would leave by 1030/11Am everyday and come back at 9-10PM everyday so the size of the room was okay I guess. Wifi was available but very slow.

From even before we arrived, Maria made contact to ensure our room would be ready for our chosen time of arrival. She was also very helpful in giving us advise of parking before we arrived. The accommodation is fantastic! Beautiful big room with a proper queen bed, complementary water and wifi and amenities in the lovely small bathroom. Maria did everything possible to ensure our stay was the best. Breakfast each morning was a great selection of fresh bakery goods, yogurts, cereals and espresso.
Thank you very much Maria. I will be recommending you highly.
