Stayed at this hotel in late November. On arrival we were greeted by Diego who was very friendly. He was able to recommend good restaurants, and great gelati shops in the area, which we ate at and were excellent. He also advised us on how best to explore Rome by marking on a map all the tourist spots and the best ways to see them. We had a family room (sleeping 2 adults and 2 teenagers). The room was small and cosy, but we only used the room for sleeping. Breakfast was good, and we were always welcomed in the morning by the two lovely female staff members. WiFi was good, and allowed the kids to communicate with their friends back in Australia. Location was excellent with it being a very short walk to the Trevi Fountain, restaurants, souvenir shops and a small supermarket. Overall our 5 day visit to Rome was made even more enjoyable by our stay at Residenza Ki. Thanks to Diego and the rest of the staff for their first class customer service.

Stayed in Dec, arrived early at 8am to the hotel, while our family room wasn't ready yet, our friendly host provided breakfast for my family of 4 which was a great welcome after a long tiring flight. The breakfast spread was good, better than the other hotels we stayed. We had a quad room which was comfortably warm for winter with good warm showers The location is great, near to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. We also walked to the Colosseum and Piazza Novona (there is a Christmas market but not the traditional type). The Metro is also nearby (but need to walk up a slope first). Our room faced the side road and occasionally you can hear the traffic at night but it's not a big issue. There are also a few flights of stairs to climb. The hotel reception is on the first floor and breakfast (and some rooms) is on the second. Well recommended for a very good value stay for family.

Completely pleased with our stay here. The location was pheonominal, close to the metro, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. The breakfast was broad in comparison with the majority of European complimentary breakfasts, great cappuccino included. Don't be discouraged by the negative stair reviews, literally two flights. Pacmira and Diego are very helpful and friendly, insuring your stay to be accommodating and enjoyable. We arrived quite early, 8AM, our first day and they served us breakfast while we were waiting for our early check in free of charge. Honestly, couldn't be more pleasantly surprised by choosing this for our stay in Rome.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of October and had a fabulous time. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were first class. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them, very relaxed and informal. Residenza ki is in a great location for sightseeing and only a couple of minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain, but in a quiet street so not to much noise.
Hoping to go back to Rome early next year and will most defiantly be looking to stay at the hotel again. Well worth the money.

My family of 4 stayed here from October 12-15,2013. Staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and helpful especially Alberto and Palomar ( hope i got the names right) . On the day we arrived, even we have not checked in since it was still 11 am, they kept our luggage and gave us breakfast. The place is 5 minutes to Trevi fountain and 10 minutes or so to Spanish steps. Excellent location for eating and shopping.
I will definitely stay here again if i visit Rome.
Thank you to the staff.

Room Tip: We stayed in the 2nd floor across the breakfast lounge. It was a little bit noisy, but the smell of...

First some general information. The hotel was quite difficult to find since the only sign was a doorbell with the words Residenza Ki next to it. The building seems to be an apartment with a few floors used as the hotel. There is no elevator so you will have to carry luggage up to the 2nd floor where check-in is. We took the car service that was arranged for us from the airport and arrived within 45 minutes and cost 48e which was very convenient.

The positives: The location is great, small quiet street only 5 minutes away from Trevi Fountain and a block away from the Metro and bus stops. Maybe 25 minutes walking to the Colosseum. There is a supermarket half a block away if you need to buy water and other essentials. Diogo, the manager was very nice is showing us how to get to different places and giving us advice on pickpockets and places to eat. We saw the police arrest different pickpockets in the metro on 3 straight days so be careful. The staff was also very nice to us, providing the breakfast and coffee in the morning. Breakfast was decent, pastries, ham, hard boiled eggs, and others. Much better than I expected.

Now the Cons:
I have read previous reviews on Room 5 on the second floor (205) and they were all negative so perhaps the other rooms are nicer and cleaner but this was the room we stayed in for 3 nights. The sink was leaking but when we reported it, it was fixed right away. The shower was tiny and if I was any bigger, I would not have fit. There is no room for me to bend down in the shower. The bathroom also seemed to have peeling paint and mold growing on the ceiling. The room was small and it barely fit us and our luggage. The air conditioning was working but it was dripping water inside the whole time it was on. Also the air conditioning started spewing some black particles all over the floor and even onto our bed when it was on so we had to turn it off. The mattress was very thin and very uncomfortable. There was WIFI but not inside the room. We had to go outside our room to the dining area for WIFI.

Overall I would not come back to this hotel. Even though the staff was nice and helpful, the room itself was in pretty bad shape.

Room Tip: If they give you Room 205, ask to be switched.

Excellent stay here - great location central to everything and just steps from the metro. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was great as well. The rooms were large and very basic, as were the bathrooms. We stayed here two nights and were so happy with our experience for the price. I would come back and recommend to any friend visiting Rome.
