“Great location”
Reviewed 24 December 2013 via mobile

This place ended up being in a very convenient post of the city. Very easy to walk to most of the major sites and very close to a lot of good restaurants for when you're tired after a long day.

For those who like a more lore key private lodging experience this is the place. Full service cleaning everyday and a front desk that seemed to be manned 24x7. The front desk personnel were helpful to find restaurants, attractions, tours, etc. but we're inconspicuous when you wanted them to be.

We stayed on the top floor and even though it was a little cool sometimes the balcony was nice and airy. In the summer this would definitely be the room to have.

The elevator is rather amusing as it is tiny and rather more manual than those from north America will be used to. The breakfast is functional and about all you really want to get up and moving. Besides there is so much good to eat in the city, wasting it on a big hotel breakfast is a shame.

If you are staying here, you are just two and three stores away from all big-named brands. not only that, Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain are just in walking distance (short ones). The reception was nice and helpful, and breakfast was really convenient. The room isn't all that spacious though, but it was really nice and comfortable.

Room Tip: if you could ask for a room in the main building (where the reception is), you should. trust me if t...

Had booked this on booking .com then saw some reviews was a bit worried what we would encounter
But the reception was a little strange on arrival with reception on first floor not at door, but very well spoken took us to our room which was roomy a triple room great bathroom breakfast was all that was required coffee perfect Nespresso!
The best location walking distance to stairs, fountain and the main shopping areas.

Exceeded my expectation.

Pros:
- location location location nearby spanish steps in the center of rome and best shopping area.
- room is comfortable. King size bed and big bath tub with jacuzzi.
- big closet and tv screen .
- they gave us early check in at 10 am and staff were very nice.

Cons:
- entrance ( elevator and stairs ) are strange.
- breakfast is okay but dont expect 5 star hotel standards. Very proper for a B&B.

This small and intimate hotel is perfectly located, close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, close to the metro station, and in the middle of the big-name shops district. The street entry is a little concerning with only the door a passgeway leading to a tiny lift and staircase as the small reception area is on the first floor. Luggage may need to be shuttled upstairs due to the tiny lift. The room was just big enough and quite comfortable, but view only over back courtyards and rooftops, but clean and adequate for our needs. Bathroom was large, and breakfast was OK. Location is hard to beat and overall, it was good value for money.

Room Tip: Perhaps you would be wise to ask for a room with a view.

Arrived expecting the worst after reading a few bad reviews. We were very pleasantly surprised when shown to our room. A large triple room with good air conditioning and a very large bathroom with double size shower bidet etc.. Small lift...... Big deal..it works perfectly and the breakfast was fine cappuccino tea cereal yoghurt croissants etc..we could not have been more centrally located. 5 mins to Spanish steps,10 mins to Trevi, 20 mins to colosseum 30 mins to Vatican, all within walking distance. I am very annoyed with people posting bull¥¥¥¥ bad reviews, they should grow up and get a life.

This hotel is in a great shopping area and very close to other tourist attractions. The front desk guy and the maid(only 2 employees we ever saw) were very helpful and gracious. The continental breakfast was just o.k.
The rooms are very small and are essentially, a bed... no where to sit.
The big problem with this hotel is that it is in 2 separate buildings across the street from each other. The one building is not only the hotel. It is a multi-level building and on each floor is a different business or residence. Only one floor belongs to the hotel. Kind of unsettling when you're coming in at night.. When the breakfast is served in the 'other' building, you have to take it on a tray back to your room and sit on the bed and eat.
The rooms were very clean.. It's unfortunate that the set-up of the hotel is so strange...

Room Tip: Don't accept a room in the building across from where the main desk is, and don't accept the...
