My parents and I stayed at PGR Home earlier this year.
The location is excellent. It is close to most of the attractions so we just need to walk.
The apartment was in excellent condition. It's nicely furnished, and nicely maintained. And it is a huge apartment which can fit a lot of people easily.
Overall, it was a great great stay in Rome. I highly recommend it to any one going to Rome!
I just got back from spending 10 days in this perfectly located Rome apartment. It is located right on the Tiber and within walking distance of all the main sights and plazas. I was traveling with my family which consisted of 4 kids, ages 7, 5, 4, and 1, and my parents and two other adults. This apartment was perfect for us as we were able to split the three rooms between the three families. The apartment was spacious enough and allowed us all privacy as if we were in 3 separate hotel rooms. Each room had a full bathroom and the kitchen was perfect for us to start our day with a nice breakfast. We Americans are used to our hearty breakfast so the option to cook eggs and other breakfast faves was awesome. There is a cafe on the street a few doors down from the apartment and a market in the small plaza behind the apartment. I believe Piaza Nicosia was the name.
I would absolutely recommend this apartment to any multifamily or group visiting Rome. All the rooms had televisions with cable, a must when traveling with kids to get them to unwind, and everything was very modern and updated.
Just one tip: this apartment does have a washer, but it is very small and does not wring the water very well from the clothes. Also, there is no dryer only a drying rack, which after doing research is not a common thing to find in apartments in Europe. Most people in Italy, and other surrounding countries hang dry their clothes outside, when the weather is nice, and inside when it's raining. However, we found a lovely little internet cafe/laundromat around the corner where you can wash your clothes with nice industrial size equipment like we have in the states. We chose to just drop our clothes off and pick up in a few hours. The prices ranged from 23 - 50 euros depending on the amount of clothes. Totally worth it to us as we were without luggage for three days and we were traveling with children so washing was a must. I believe the laundromat was off Via Camcello, there is a white sign with blue writing which you will see from the street behind the apartment. Only a 2 minute walk. I do not mark off any points for the washing machine situation because this is clearly one of those American conveniences we seriously take for granted.
Lastly, Pierluigi was amazingly patient and attentive with us. We were stuck at the airport for over two hours after landing trying to get our luggage, which never came by the way, and he was in contact with us the entire time and communicating with the drivers who were meeting us there to take us to the apartment. We had my husbands cell phone that we were using thank goodness!! Pierluigi was waiting for us when we arrived at the apartment even though we arrived a lot later than anticipated. He was also happy to be a contact person from the airport as they required a local number to arrange delivery of our luggage. He brought us more towels and was always available to us when we had a question. Thanks Pierluigi!!!
I look forward to visiting Rome again and renting one of their apartments!! He and his brother have several in Rome of differing sizes and even more in the surrounding towns outside Rome.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment, which exceeded our expectations. Pierluigi and Paolo gave us a great welcome and lots of good recommendations.
The apartment was very spacious (especially for Europe) and extremely well appointed - high quality and comfortable furniture, tasteful decoration and lots of great features like individual climate control in every room, electronic shutters with controls by the bed, beautiful bath and large showers.
The kitchen was also well equipped with a good range of pots, pans, utensils as well as a small collection of staples (salt, sugar, oil, vinegar, tea) left behind by others but great to have on hand.
Was very conveniently located right on the river close to both the Vatican as well as things such as the Spanish steps, pantheon, piazza navona.
We would definitely stay there again if we needed a 3 bd apartment, or would look at one of their other smaller apartments that they manage in Rome, Florence or Venice.
