This is my second stay here - we loved the refurbished room and the location is fantastic! You really can't get any closer to the Spanish Steps, a it's a short walk to all the shops, cafes and getting to the places of interest is easy. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was exceptionally clean and the tea making facilities were appreciated. I would recommend booking early if going in high season to get one of the rooms with a balcony!

Fantastic central location, everything is in easy walking distance and the Metro station is a minute's walk from the hotel. Good restaurants in the area. The room was extremely clean, large and well-equipped. We were glad of the small complimentary breakfast and tea / coffee facilities in the room and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The only negatives were that there was no very cold water from the tap / shower (we would have liked cold showers to escape the summer heat, having said that, the air conditioning was superb so it was a tiny quibble), also, that it is quite noisy in the mornings and evenings with other guests coming and going (all the rooms come off one central corridor and there are thin doors and wooden floors throughout).

Room Tip: We were glad to have a room that did not back onto the busy, noisy Piazza di Spagna. If you're a...

We have traveled to Rome frequently and have stayed on this property and it's sister property
International Domus twice. The location at the bottom of the Spanish steps is convenient and close to shopping and the historical attractions. It is perfect for a large family or couples traveling together. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and nicely appointed. The bathrooms are spacious and modern. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with the balcony. The only negative experience we had on this trip was that the driver who was arranged through the hotel picked us up at the airport but dropped us off over one city block away with all our luggage in the middle of a crowded street. He was also rude and very unfriendly. We have used the hotel drivers in the past and this had never happened before.

Room Tip: Choose the suite with the balcony on the Spanish steps.

This hotel is literally at the bottom of the Spanish steps in a great part of Rome, and the location is simply spectacular. We had a two bedroom with balcony so we could watch all the action. The room itself was nicely decorated and completely quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful. A special thank you to the receptionist who arranged a driver and tour guide for Ostia for us; it was a wonderful experience and I appreciate her help.

Wonderful hotel next to the Spanish Steps and the heart of the old city. Walk to the Trevi fountain. Next to a metro station. My husband and I had our two teenage kids with us and stayed in a 2 bedroom. It was wonderful that it had also had 2 bathrooms. Our balcony looked right over the piazza. Very nice and helpful staff.

Loved this hotel. Great location. We had a quad with direct view of piazza. We could not believe how quiet this first floor room was. The windows are double glazed. Very clean, nice, helpful staff that were were responsive with emails before we arrived. They give guests a book of recommended restaurants that they have personally reviewed. We were so happy with all restaurants recommended by the hotel! Only negative--- one of our two bathrooms had a shower stall so small that it was comical. And we are not large people. A larger shower would have been easier if they just got ride of the stupid bidet. Death to the bidet!

Excellent location next to the Spanish Steps. We walked to all the tourist attractions. Very roomy for our family of 4, and the rooms were quiet. Staff very helpful. A bit pricey, and no breakfast provided, but otherwise an excellent experience.
