Not fancy, but the rooms are spacious, bright and clean. We could hardly hear the noise from the street because the windows were soundproof. No internet, but there's internet cafe a few meters away and many points of Wi-Fi in the city center.
The staff are friendly, charming and very helpful. They helped us book tickets for the Vatican, Villa Borghese and other sites and recommended a great restaurant just around the corner.
Good breakfast: hot and cold drinks, cakes, bread, cheese, vegetables and cereal.
The hotel is on a main street, two minutes from Piazza Navona and the old city center. hardly ever used public transport in the week we were in Rome, since all the major attractions were nearby.

Its a the typical old Roman building. The elevator is really unique. The staff is friendly. The rooms are good, but the ones with windows facing the roadside are really noisy.I had such a room for one night but I couldn't sleep the whole night. Next day they changed to the big and much quite room on backside. There is no Internet and TV in most of the rooms. Though the hotel is decent it is bit expensive for the kind of facilities they offer. But the best advantage is the location. You can almost visit all the major attractions by walk from this hotel.

Room Tip: Select the rooms on the backside to have a peaceful night.

We stayed at Migdal Palace mainly because of the Kosher food (the free breakfast, though not the most impressive, was pretty good!). The place turned out to be very nice for what we paid. Very clean, great air conditioning, blocked out the noise and lights from the buys street below.
A pretty basic hotel, but a really good experience.

outside it looks like an apartment building - no loby but dont be fooled its the hhosotel in Rome. the staff are helpful and hospitable. the rooms are very modern and the food is wonderful. because the Hotel is Kosher instad of ham you get fresh vegies for breakfast. on the street level there is a small Pizzeria run by freindly students. the Piza is the best Ive eaten in my life.
The location of the hotel is fantastic just on the back of piazza navona and on the enterence of the hotel you get bus stops to all the places in Rome.the hotel is located on the main street of vitorio emanuel 5 minutes walk from piazza venezia. its an hotel with a real home feeling.

Room Tip: the best rooms are on nthe right side wing (the wing that is far from the restaround).

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights last week.

We had a room facing the street and the noise was absolutely horrible, nothing could be done to block out the sound.

The rooms were clean, but very basic. No TV, phone or safe.

Location was very good, maximum 20 minutes walking from most of the major sights.

Desk staff was terribly rude and refused service several times. There were hours at a time when the desk was left unattended. Even once caught the woman manning the desk in a very compromising position.

Would not recommend it.

I booked this hotel only because it was the only one left in the area.
It's very basic - no frills.
Staff were OK - rooms were clinically clean.
No hot water in my shower, mildly warm and absolutely no pressure.
You need 4 keys just to get from the street to your room which was annoying.
Paper thin walls - I thought the people in the next room were IN my room.
Lots of slamming doors in the morning.
Didn't have breakfast - didn't look overly appetising - and why would you when you have Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona etc all around the corner.

This is a very small hotel on a busy street, breakfast was less than desirable. We tried to check out early, but the girl working the front desk didn't know how to work the credit card machine! We came back when she told us, and no one was working the front desk, for hours!! The rooms are sparse with no tv or sheets (they just give you a thin duvet-type thing). I will say that it was clean, but the price seemed rather high for what you get.
