Pros
- The host is a super nice guy, very informed, friendly and approachable
- Location. 10-15 min to termini, 5 minutes to metro. Not much to do in the area but it's a good gateway to the rest of the city

Cons
- Rooms are very modest. The bed had a stale smell to it, and the bed covers were a bit dirty.
- Only two washrooms (shared). No private washrooms.
- Overall the place wasn't super clean, had the feel of a substandard hostel.

We didn't really mind the place, we only stayed one night and it was much cheaper than other options in Rome, but we wouldn't recommended for longer stays. Overall a bit outdated and simple, but very practical if you're looking for a short stay, great host, good location and affordable.

Rene is extremely friendly and accommodating and the room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The shared bathrooms are very modern, and the breakfast room felt homey. Rene's coffee is excellent, by the way. I paid a little extra for the breakfast, because it was so nicely done, including yogurt, juice, cereal, warm fresh rolls with jam and nutella. The location is very convenient, and the value is incomparable. Women may want to bring a shower cap, as the showers have rain heads. I consider myself very lucky to find something so comfortable at this price point, and I will definitely be back.

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in November and found Little Italy easily. We walked from Termini and I must admit we were getting a little worried where we were walking but it turned out to be a pretty safe area, close to the Colosseum, metro station and bus stops.

Rene was a fantastic host, helpful and very informative. We had booked a double room which had a small mini fridge inside. The fact that there were two bathrooms was great although we found one had a strange smell. I would suggest using your own towel if you can fit it in your backpack because the ones provided are similar to scratchy cardboard.

Wifi was great in the kitchen and the apartment is kept very clean. We had breakfast included (cereal and bread) which is fine when travelling on a budget. We felt safe inside and safe using the lift- an original old roman lift about 1.5m long but it runs all the time and is perfectly fine. A great stay overall for what we paid to be in central Rome, thank you Rene!

Room Tip: The closer to the kitchen you are, the better service wifi you will receive.

From the great breakfast in the morning to the gloriously comfortable beds at night we thoroughly recommend this gorgeous little B and B. Rene is so helpful and accommodating. Great too to have an elevator, rare in a small accommodation place. Very handy to Termini and to the Colosseum

Two of my children one 19 and one 15 went to Rome for 5 days and were really well looked after at Little Italy by Rene. They felt, safe, comfortable and raved about the jams and juices at breakfast. Rene gave them a lot of tips about the best times to visit all the tourist attractions, how to beat the queues and how to get a bargain. It was a proper B & B experience, a good price and a good service.

We were recommended this B&B by a friend who lives in the same building. It's near the Termini Station and a short 10 minute walk from the Colosseum. It's housed in an old Roman building and has a lot of character. It's a fairly basic accommodation, but its clean and the host is very friendly and approachable.

This suited me perfectly. I wanted something that was not to impersonal and was handy for the places I wanted to travel to.
The hosts were very helpful and I had a great time.
I found the hotel through skyscanner.net which was great
