Very nice place to stay in Rome. Absolutely central Palazzo – walk everywhere - with genuine roman decoration and rooms. Very kind, friendly and helpful owners. Discrete available and efficient staff. A lodging to return to.

Absolutely fantastic location. Walked all around Rome and came back to massage chairs in the room. Clean and comfortable. Recommended.

Couldn't be more central. Fantastic location with lots of sites within very short walking distance. Room was small and busy with gadgets I didn't need, but clean. Snacks and coffee made a great start to the day. Only small issue was the tram vibrations in the room, but I got used to it within a day, and I was out and about most of the time anyway. Very friendly and helpful staff. And thank God for air on... It reached 38 outside!

Room Tip: Might be less vibration at the back?

I stayed here 3 nights in June with my adult son. We had a triple room, a queen bed, and a twin. The room was large, but a little tight with the twin. It would have made a fabulous double. As it was, it worked for us. Very modern bathroom with an awesome shower stall with a bench, and shower body spray, etc. Also, foot and chair massage machines which were much appreciated after a long day of touring on foot. The decor is a little "kitchy" with alot of replicas of Italian statues and reliefs, but it's all kind of charming. As others have said, the stocked refrigerator worked well for our breakfast, and each item was fairly priced. I would have yogurt with granola, my son would toast bread or pastry with jam. Our host gave us an extremely thorough review of what to do in Rome, and added some things to our list (especially some churches with Bernini statues or with other important features). We enjoyed all of the things he mentioned and would not have other wise known of them. AC is available for 10 E extra per night (which we did take advantage of, both for the temp and for the noise reduction of being able to close the window) Only two complaints--the trolley stop immediately in front of the building makes a loud noise and even provides a bit of a rumbling. It runs til about midnight, and did keep me awake, despite the AC being on and using the white noise ap on my phone. The second thing is the oddly super rough towels and sheets. Felt like perhaps way too much detergent that was not rinsed thoroughly. Enjoyed our stay overall, especially due to the awesome location.

Room Tip: Not on the front for noise reduction

Prior to booking our stay we consulted the other positive reviews on Tripadvisor and I am so glad we did . We stayed from 28th May 2012 to 3rd June 2012, for 6 nights. We booked a triple room, for two adults and one six year old, and a double room for one adult. We were not disappointed. Both rooms were uniquely decorated, eclectic, comfortable, well equipped (coffee machine, warming oven, mini-bar, massage chair, foot massager, foot spa, clean towels daily), spotlessly clean and with double-glazed shuttered windows to cut out street noise. The mini bar and breakfast items were very reasonably priced and there was a good selection. The owners and staff were extremely friendly, attentive and well-informed, advising us on "must sees", places to eat, public transport, museum passes etc. The location cannot be beaten. The Pantheon and Piazza Navona are a short walk away (5mins) and the Roman Forum, Colisseum, Il Vittoriano and Palatine Hill are just a short walk in the other direction (10-20mins). St. Peters and the Vatican City are probably a 20-30minute walk away but only a 5 minute bus ride. Not forgetting the four early Roman temples, quite literally on the doorstep, complete with cat sanctuary. The square outside is a hub of activity with a tram line and lots of bus services. The street noise in the room was minimised by the sound proofed glazing. The square, and immediate area, has plenty of facilities for eating out whether it be cafes, ristorantes, mini-market (Spar) etc. We loved our stay and we have every intention of coming back.
