Hotel is centrally located in Via Nazionale. Had our room on 6th floor which was reachable by taking the lift up till 5th floor and taking the stairs for the next floor. Spacious room with a great balcony. Bathroom was good except for the temperature of the water which was unstable. Room service was not good. Bed sheets were only spread again and not changed. Bathroom towels were not cleaned also. Breakfast variety was decent. Breakfast attendant was truly friendly and efficient in taking coffee orders. Outdoor building door was not so secure as one can easily access the building and end up behind your hotel room door. When we checked out early and asked the hotel reception to hold our luggage, the luggage was only left behind the reception.

Hotel is no luxury, but a good place to sleep. The location is excellent. From there it's easy to explore Rome by walk. Distance to Termini Station is also very short (so you don't need a taxi from and to the airport).
The rooms were clean and cleaned up every day. Staff was friendly and helpful. At reception desk they spoke very good english.
Breakfast costs 6 €. It's mediocre, but still enough. I think the breakfast is worth 6 € cause there is a barista who makes whatever coffee customer wishes. The coffee is soooo good!
Free Wi-Fi in the room worked without any interruption.
Minus sides: the ac is loud, the walls are like paper and the mattresses are poor. However I think none of these were to disturbing.
For this price and location we were pleased with Hotel Esposizione.

Stayed here with my daughter and sister for a 3 night get away. The hotel is in a very central location on the Via Nazionale, within walking distance of The Colloseum. The bus stop is directly across the road where the No 64 takes you to the Vatican CIty. The hotel is very clean, the room had air conditioning and was spacious, loved the shutters on the windows which left the room lovely and dark on the final morning when we decided to stay on in bed a little longer. Breakfast was included but to be honest wasn't great, a small dining room, with very little variety but we didn't mind that overly.. It is not very well signed from the outside so we passed it twice! The building hosts 2 hotels so look out for the Hotel Michigan sign instead!!! The lift is the tiniest lift I have ever been in, but I definitely would return.

Room Tip: we were on 5th floor and did get some vibrations from outside traffic but it didn't bother us ov...

Location is pretty good as the Via Nazionale is within striking distance by foot from all the main sites if you want to get some exercise between pasta consummations.

From there on I'm struggling to find too many positives. An unpromising street entrance leads you to a tiny lift taking you up to the third floor (2 cases and two humans is the limit!) you are then (un)welcomed by disinterested foyer staff. We waited and waited while the Italian-speaking Asian male receptionist spent over 5 minutes arguing on the phone while his female colleague failed to raise her head in all of that time.

The room we were allocated was in the Annex next door so down we went with the cases again, onto the street, one doorway down and up in an identical lift while the receptionist ran up the 4 floors to meet us. He was now incapable of a conversation and puffed his way through a semi-instruction on the use of the 4 keys at our disposal.

The room was small and dated with a noisy old air-conditioning unit and an even noisier toilet flush. The staff even placed a towel over the top of the ceiling high cistern to minimise the noise - unsuccessfully! The shower would be ideal for a child or a very skinny adult straight after a 40 day fast. The bed was fairly hard - too our liking - but not to everyone's. The TV didn't work and was replaced 12 hours later. The cost was €197 per night for a double room - not worth the money. Next time in Rome, I'll research the old town much more thoroughly and find me a reasonably priced hotel room with staff that smile and a shower built for a normal human being!

The only good thing to say about this hotel was the location :( Walkingdistance to most of the sights! But the room, and the bathroom, and the beds....Just terrible! And the breakfast - find another place.... We would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Find another hotel on Via Nazionale or nearby ;)

We had a comfortable room and it was fairly quiet on the 6th floor. People leaving and slamming doors early did wake us some mornings. They call it the Annex since the elevator only goes to the 5th floor and you walk up 1 flight. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We found it very close to things we wanted to see on foot which was almost everything. The metro takes you only a few minutes to get to other further destinations, TV worked and air was working on our 2nd day. It was just starting to get very warm there. Find a different place for breakfast though, they are over priced for what you get. It is always the same things to eat. Some variety would be nice. It was economical accommodation for Rome standards. Many nice places for dinner nearby.
I did find water temp in the shower did fluctuate but the bathroom was nicely updated.

Room Tip: The triple we had was 1 large double enough room for 2 adults easily and a single. I have no idea w...

So positives are the location is walking distance for all main attractions from Trevi fountain to Pantheon, Spanish Steps, station and bus station, restaurants and the list goes on. The man who greeted us at reception could not have been more hospitable or helpful and carried our bags to the room in the next door building. If you read the Tripadvisor reviews and looked at the pictures it wasn't hard to find and its a great building from the outside. The room was big and even though it fronted the main street and I am a poor sleeper away from home I slept well. It was clean and the room was refreshed each day. It had a min fridge which was handy and plenty of wardrobe space. For the area it was good value BUT no mattress protector and the mattress had seen better days ( I am all for getting the most out of something but it was old) Yes I slept on it but god only knows how many others had also! Its dated décor and worn out furniture was not great but as it was a base and we pretty much were only there to sleep it was fine for us. Air con broken and TV had no sound but then again we didn't need aircon and the TV is Italian so not much use to us. Feedback to owners new mattresses please and covers are a must!

Room Tip: If you want to use as a place to sleep and aren't fussy then this is the place. If your after be...
