“One of the worst in Rome”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

This hotel has the whole package for being the worst hotel in Rome. 1) The rooms are dirty. 2) The toilets were like mid-highway toilets in the desert. They were extremely dirty. It was not possible to keep the toilet lid up and there was pee all over the lid and the floor in shared bathrooms!!! 3) You have to pay 2 euros for 2 hours of internet use or 5 euros for 1 day use. 4) They will charge you for 2 euros/2 hour for keeping your luggage in the storage room!! 5) The worst part are the guys in the reception. I saw 3 guys at the reception and 2 of them very impolite and unfriendly. After asking the guy about the check out time, the guy told me if you leave your luggage 1 min after the check out time I will charge you for the entire day. Hated the guy and the entire hotel. Don't spoil your stay in Rome by this nasty hotel.

Room Tip: There is no real good room in this hotel! You hear doors slammed all the time.

The best thing about this place is the location, literally right across the street is 6 euro (one-way) bus to the main Rome airport far far away.

The second best thing is the price, around 20 euros pp, sometimes even less.

Of course you get what you pay for. Booked a one-night triple room 10 days apart, the first one had no a/c and a shower stall in the middle of the room. Better than shared shower I guess. The second one was on the top floor and I guess counts as their suite. A/C in BOTH rooms and a better en suite bathroom. Lucked into that one. Don't expect much from the beds.

Enjoy the location and saved monies!

So much for being on the first floor. I was in the single room next to the reception desk and it is very noisy. Only a toilet on the first floor the shower is up on the second. The man on recpetion is rude by not even acknowledging you have arrived...i stood ther 5 minutes staring at him...a classis power play standing behind his big desk. Oh there is so much more to choose from around termini than this. I only took it as a last minute option on my last night before leaving rome...you wont get much sleep here.

Room Tip: Ask for the second floor and use the lift for bags only.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in room no.11. It is in first floor with private bathroom and window facing the wall. Very dark, but on the other side - no noise from the street. But there were some really unpleasant noises from hotel at night - yelling, door slamming, etc. And the bed is very uncomfortable. This room is next to the shared bathroom and you can literally hear everything. So dont expect good night sleep in this room. No air conditioner, just really noisy fan on the ceiling (although, it is better to get used to the constant and monotonic fan noise than to really loud itallian speech). Breakfast good but sweet only, dont expect to get cheese or salami. The breakfast lady was wery kind. Location is comparably good if you can get used to the homeless people sleeping on the street. All in all I would reccomend digging a little more and find better option.
P.s. wi-fi is not free and expensive (1 hour - 2 eur, 24 hours - 5 eur).

My family and I stayed in this hotel in 2013 for eight nights. Very reasonably priced and it is literally 5 steps away from the Termini.
The breakfast is very good and included in your price, WiFi is available, even though you do have to pay for it.
The hotel staff are very friendly and very helpful.
The red citysightseeing bus stops right outside the hotel and is a perfect way to see the city.
It may not be the most sophisticated of hotels, but it is perfectly clean and convenient.
For the people travelling on a budget this is the place to stay!

Great place, near to Termini & metro, cheap, good breakfast. The standard is not so high, so if you are looking for something sophisticated - you will have to look somewhere else. There was a frige in the room, comfortable bed, every day stuff changed covers, The hotel stuff was the best - very kind, always smiling people, with a lot of humility. Even though the place is not the paradise - they made our stay very nice.

The room was ok but the beds were terrible. There was a hump in the middle of the mattress and I felt like I was going to roll off onto the floor so I had to sleep on the hump. It was pretty miserable. The shower was annoying because it was a hand-held shower head, which I usually prefer, but there was nowhere to hang it so you couldn't stand under it. You had to put it down and soap yourself up and then pick it up and rinse off. We had to keep the window open because there was no AC and it was really noisy. The hallway outside the room was stinky and dirty looking. I dropped some coins on the floor and they rolled into the shelf under the nightstand drawer; when it put my hand in to get them it was filthy! It was grimy and dusty... GROSS! Thank God we only stayed one night. If you're planning on more than that I would not recommend this hotel!
