Fabrizio and his brother are very nice, very good at welcoming you, helping you out on many things and giving you advices...that is the big plus of this place. Rooms are pleasant and clean, location is good. Breakfast facilties (out in a bar in the neighborhood) is a "minus". I can't really judge if it is good value but we had a very good stay and the offerwas a perfect fit for us (parents+ 4 children).

WRH Trastevere has an excellent location in Trastevere, which is a great area to be in as a tourist. Historic neighborhood from which you can walk everywhere. While not large, the rooms were clean and 'Italian modern', with a well designed and welcoming common area. It is more of a B&B. though you take your breakfast at a cafe a few blocks away (small Italian breakfast of croissant, juice and coffee at a friendly neighborhood place). Fabrizio was very helpful and friendly and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat. One thing to note is that the bathrooms in the room are small (though most bathrooms we encountered in Italy are on the small side) and there was a bead curtain in front of the glass bathroom door to provide privacy.

My wife and I stayed here in October. We really liked it. It's small and homey, and in a terrific neighborhood just minutes walk from good restaurants, shops and sites and transportation. Best of all were Maria and her husband Alex, who are genuine and warm hearted and helpful and accommodating. We're so glad we found this place. We'd stay here again. We've told our friends about it. And we absolutely recommend it.

I don't understand the reviewers complaining that WRH Trastevere is not a hotel. It is clearly listed under B & Bs/ Inns and that is exactly what it is. But I digress...

My friends and I stayed here last fall and it was perfect. Fit our price point, great location, exceptional staff and nice accommodations. The room and bathroom offered plenty of space and it was so nice to have computer and WiFi access right in the room at the desk. We were able to check emails and surf the web for information about the various sights in Rome.

The common room offered coffee service, refreshments, guide books and other resources. You won't need those, however, because Fabrizio and Maria can tell you everything you need to know. We saw Fabrizio most often and he helped us book museum tickets, make restaurant reservations and told us exactly which buses to take where. Loved the neighborhood of Trastevere, as it seemed much quieter than other places we could have picked in Rome, and we could walk to attractions like the Pantheon, Campo de Fiori, the Wedding Cake and more. Those attractions we could not walk to were easily accessible by the regular and tour bus systems. Trastevere had excellent restaurant choices.

The breakfasts were croissants, juice and coffee, but we loved the little bar (Lelli) and the gentlemen who worked there. It was a pleasure to see them every day!

I would definitely go back and definitely stay at WRH Trastevere again!

Very friendly and polite staff. Nice and clean. Modern interior. Walking distance to most sites. Good and detailed recommendations for shopping, tourism and eating. A couple of very good restaurants and food shops very close.
The standard is simple, for example you get meal tickets to a coffee shop across the street instead of a hotel breakfast. Something in-between a b&b and a hotel.
We were travelling with a baby and we had no problems what so ever. Very nice place. Would definitely stay there again.

We spent three nights here in June. The location is perfect, in the best place to stay in Rome. Right in the middle of some really good places to eat and with a really genuine Italian host. Quiet at night and breakfast across the road is amazing, coffee to die for and lovely pastries.

This place was previously top twenty in rome on the hotels list before they forced them onto the b&b list and you can see why it had risen so far.
