“Excellent location”

This hotel is right next to the famous Trevi Fountain and walking distance to a few other fantastic attractions.
The staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was included. Basic, but tasty. The restaurant was on the rooftop and overlooked the Trevi Fountain. Gorgeous.
Our room was spacious enough but we had no window out to the big wide world. So it was a shame not to have a view for our first trip to Rome. There was a window that opened onto a small garden with a very loud air conditioning unit. and when I say "garden" I mean about 1 metre square of grass, surrounded by concrete wall.
No other complaints though.
The hotel was close to a Laundromat which was very helpful since we were away from home for five weeks.
There was no elevator so we had to drag our heavy bags up the stairs.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a window that looks out onto something other than an air conditioning unit!

We spent a long weekend in Rome and stayed in this hotel. They had organised transfer from the airport for us, which worked fine, altough did cost 60€. When we arrived, the room was not yet ready, so we went for lunch in one of the many restaurants close by. Welcome in the hotel was very friendly, during our whole stay all staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room we had was great, relatively big, with partial view of theTrevi Fountain. In spite of big crowds there, also late in the evening, it was quiet in the room, when we closed the window.
The location of the hotel could not be better, we did all sightseeing and shopping by foot. It is only 10 minutes walking to the Spanish Steps or the Pantheon, half an hour walk to the Colosseum or St. Peters. The main shopping strets are close by, so are many Restaurants.
Breakfast is served on a nice little terrace, again with view of the Trevi Fountain.

We were moved to this hotel after our original hotel was overbooked- it definitely worked out for the best! The location was great, just round the corner from the Trevi Fountain, so within walking distance of almost all the sights. The Metro is only a five-ten minute walk away for any bigger distances, and there are lots of decent restaurants only a short walk away.

Judging from other reviews and the hotel's website, our room was a superior room- one of the biggest I've ever had in Europe and nicely furnished in a traditional Italian style with lots of character. We had a street-facing room, and although it was quite noisy with the window open, once the shutters and windows were closed there was barely any noise. The air conditioning was very effective too! While the bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure, the toilet pump was very loud and not very effective. There are stairs even if you choose to take the elevator, but a member of staff will take your bags up to your room and back to reception.

Room Tip: The extra size and street view are a great touch in the superior room.

Fabulous place to stay, especially if you get the room in which you can see the fountain from. The place is right where the action is and beautiful. The top of the building is the restaurant and you get wonderful views from there also. Would definitely stay there again.

4 storey hotel 30m from the trevi fountain - OK you come outside the door right into the crowds but the double glazing is good enough. Reception was mainly good although one lady was not having a good day when we spoke with her - otherwise they were good. Breakfast (nice small open garden that looks over the fountain) was substantial. Wifi was good but dropped off many times. You have to walk up the steps but the staff take your bags and there is a very slow small elevator. Great restaurants nearby

Room Tip: the rooms facing the street are fine but if you want the windows open then be ready for the noise of...

Took the plunge and booked this hotel based on it's very central location. It's right next to the Trevi Fountain so in terms of getting to places and finding your way back it's perfect! Less than 10 mins to the nearest Metro (Berberini), Spanish Steps and Pantheon. The room was massive with very high ornate ceilings. The bathroom was quite tiny but adequate. One thing that was slightly annoying was the macerator toilet which also went into action when running water. It was so noisy! Our room overlooked the street outside and as most people have commented it is noisy....but the double glazing works a treat so we were not disturbed. The only downside for us was the breakfast. Pretty measly and not much choice at all. No muesli just cornflakes and chocolate puffs for cereals and everything bar the pastry selection was under whelming. We're not ones to complain but when you're doing a full day of sight seeing you need some healthy and satisfying (not all sugar) food inside you! Overall better than average but not really very good...just good (which Trip Advisor doesn't have)

Back in March we went to Rome for the rugby and as we had such a great time at the Fontana the last time there we booked again. Things had changed as they had added new rooms and we were staying in one. It was over looking the the street but as always with the windows closed no street noise at all but having said that we had them open in the day as it is the sound of Rome.
The room was well appointed and the furnishing modern but very good. The shower stall was a bit cramped but apart from that no problems.
The breakfast boy's remember my wife from the last stay and no soon than we sat down her coffee just as she liked it was there. The hotel is in walking distance to the Spanish steps and other attractions and 2 minutes walk to a metro station. Nice bar's and places to eat within a stones throw of the hotel so give it a go when in Rome.
