We stayed at Residenza Domiziano for 4 nights. I'd like to thank Mr. Vicky for his kind and friednly service and E-mails. But, the quadruple room I stayed was too cramped for my family, my husband, myself, and two sons. The room was almost full of 3 beds. We couldn't find enough space to put down 4 suitcases. I don't think the room was supposed to be A Quadruple room. Secondly, The bathroom didn't have a shower curtain or booth.
so we had to take a shower, sitting on the bath tub. It was too cold in the bathroom.
I enjoyed the great location and great service from Mr. Vicky, though.

Room Tip: If you reserved a quadruple room, You'd better check the room in advance.

We had a week long stay in this hotel, visiting Rome for culture and rugby.

The hotel is located in a quieter street near a Berberini Square and very short walk from the Metro (subway). Access to the hotel is gained through a secure doored archway via a labelled buzzer. Vicki and his colleagues at the hotel could not be more friendly and helpful. They know all about the attractions, places to eat, and local transport and are only to happy to share their knowledge. Their advice on the city is invaluable to improving your stay.

Our room was comfortable, well furnished and had a view out over the enclosed courtyard. There was a wardrobe more than big enough for a week's clothing for two people. There was also a small safe in the room. There is no lounge or dining area in the hotel but every morning breakfast was served in our room at precisely the time we requested the night before.

The Spanish Steps are a five minute walk away, and the Trevi Fountain just a little further. There are also dozens of places to eat within an easy walking distance.

If you want big and corporate with belboys and big dining areas this hotel is not for you. If you enjoy friendly, professional, individualistic with a little local flavour look no further.

It was a pleasure to stay at this home from home, we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and willstay here again when we return to Rome.

Room Tip: Our room overlooking the courtyard was very quiet. Some rooms do over look a side street but is not...

my wife and I had booked a 5 night stay to view the sights of Rome and to watch the Italy v Scotland rugby match. We selected this hotel 'blind' and had little idea what to expect. We found it in a small and quiet city street perfectly located to walk to all the great locations in Rome and near the Fontana de Tritone.Numerous restaurants exist within 400 yards and as as long as you stay away from nearby Via Veneto then prices are fine. The hotel is accessed via a main door into a courtyard then into the 1st floor of the the old stone building. The staff were charming and more than helpful. There is no lounge or public area apart from reception but who needs that in Rome? The reception area and hall, which accesses the bedrooms all appeared newly decorated as was our room.Clearly due to the nature of the hotel it lacks the sort of facilities you would find in a 4* hotel but the Bristol Hotel is only 100 yards way and you can pay 5 times the rate if that is what you want.We plan to return in 2 years time(rugby again!) and have already decided to stay at the Residenza. The hotel has a regular, self employed, driver and it is worth arranging transfers from the airport ,through the hotel ,with him

Room Tip: we had room 124 over looking the courtyard which is rather unattractive but made our room very quiet...

We arrange a suprise birthday weekend in Rome for our mother. Hotel Residenza Domiziano was perfect for us! The location was exactly what we wanted. The Green Line bus stop was just arround the corner. Green Line toured just those sights which where important for us. We could not ask for better service! Viki helped us in every way and arrange us all what we needed. He was always really polite and made our trip a 5 star trip. When you arrange airport transport remember to ask for Mauro! He is the best! I highly recomend this hotel for everyone! Its nice and small and near everything. Will go back next time Ill go to Rome.

Room Tip: We had a party of 4 and took only a one room. It was nice to be whit my family all the time.

My family stayed the week between Christmas and New Years and we couldn't have been more pleased. This is not your "typical" hotel - it located on a small side street right off of Bernini Piazza. It does not have a lobby to speak of and you feel like you are heading into a private apartment as you head upstairs to enter. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is amazing. Vicky, the manager, and everyone at the hotel will do whatever they can to make your stay in Rome fantastic. When we were leaving for a tour before the breakfast service(which is brought to your room) began, the night manager made sure that he put a breakfast together for us so that we would not go hungry. You won't get that service at a Hilton. Again, this is not a large hotel, but rather a quaint and comfortable oasis after a busy day of touring the city.
The location could not possibly be better. The metro is located at the end of the street. Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and the Coliseum are all within walking distance of the hotel. Even my 78 year old mother walked to all of these sights from the hotel. We will definitely stay again on our next visit.

Room Tip: Our room faced the street and was a bit noisy. I believe that they have rooms facing the courtyard...

My wife, granddaughter, and I stayed at the Residenza Domiziano for 4 nights in late November
as part of a birthday trip for our granddaughter. The accomodations were excellent; clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The staff is very helpful and although they were all very accomodating of our needs and wants, one person, San, stands out a both a great host and travel guide. This is an excellent European style hotel with first class service staff. Be sure to follow San's dining recomendations.

On November 20 we began a 6 day stay at Residenza Domiziano. The staff could not have been more courteous or helpful. They gave us helpful tips about transportation, restaurants (making three or four reservations for us), places to see, etc. The restaurants they recommended could not have been better. Michol gave me a list of not-to-be-missed Baroque churches, even marking their locations on the maps the B&B provided to us. The B&B, although very small, was staffed 24 hours. The location on the Piazza Bernini was perfect, equidistant from the Galleria Borghese, St Pietro in Vincoli, Coliseum, Spanish Steps and Fontana Trevi. The Metro entrance was less than a block away. The room was good sized with an excellent bed and bathroom. I give it 5 stars out of 5. John Braun

Room Tip: The room we had was on an interior courtyard off a small street. I don't remember any noise at n...
