Myself and my 2 girlfriends (3 women) stayed here for 4 nights (Oct 18-22/08) and absolutely enjoyed the "Nest". The staff were excellent and remembered everything that was asked of them, whether it was an early morning taxi or wakeup or splitting of the bill. We loved Trastevere and would not stay anywhere else. I enjoy reading other reviews of the B and B, and if you are an experienced traveler of sorts, you know the difference between a B and B and a hotel. Things are different at a B and B, but the standard is high and the level of care to clients is first and foremost. If there is a noisy dog across the street or the lift is to slow, so what, the beds were great, the bath and shower cleaner than home!! and the area was perfect. I also would advise to take the car pickup service provided by the hotel, as it is daunting to figure out where you are and where you are going to on your first arrival to Roma!
Ciao, from Canada

If this is your first time visiting Rome, I recommend that you arrange for a taxi or limo service to get to this place. The reception desk is on the 5th floor...I made a mistake of going to the 4th floor and I ended up walking into the dining area =P The elevator is very small. it can only fit 2 people ( I had a friend get in the elevator with our luggages, while I ran up the stairs ).

The location is very convenient, it's super close to atm/cash machines, restaurants and supermarket. It's also really close to the tram/bus station that takes you to the major tourist sites ( Colosseo, Pantheon, etc )

We booked a double room ( with the 2 twin beds ). and it was gorgeous; it was very clean and it didn't smell like cigarette smoke ( which I expected fr most European rooms) . There's a safe in the closet, and the bathroom was so cute. They provide you with plenty of towels ( I recommend you put one of the towels on the floor before stepping out of the shower; tile floors can get slippery )

The breakfast here was a-may-zing! They had all the foods laid out nicely and everything tasted so good! The website photos are pretty accurate. You can also request for eggs and bacon. I loved the little nutella packets, pastries, salami and prosciutto...ooh and the big chunk of fresh parmesan was a treat!

The staff here was awesome. They were all very helpful and they were all fun to talk to. There's a night receptionist available so there's always help available.

Overall, I loved this B&B...I'll definitely stay here again!

This B&B boasts a super location smack dab in the middle of the Trastevere area of Rome. It occupies sections of the top two floors of an apartment building. The lift is small and slow, so if you have a lot of luggage, build in some time. Our room was freshly renovated, and absolutely lovely. The daily breakfast was grand by B&B standards. Staff was superb, making great arrangements for airport pickup/dropoff, and recommendations for local restaurants (there are loads of great little spots in this area of the city - you can't miss.) We had a nice evening drinking wine and people watching from one of the many places adjacent to the basilica of Santa Maria de Trastevere.
The B&B is within walking distance of the Forum, Colliseum, and the Vatican. We walked everywhere during our two days in the city.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Your Nest In Rome from the 13-16th of July as a suprise for his birthday.
We chose the airport pick-up service which was an excellent idea as we would have got really lost finding the B&B on our own!
It is based on two floors inside a typical roman apartment block and you wouldn't know it was there from the outside!
We stayed in the suite which was lovely. The air-conditioning was a god-send in the july heat! We had sky t.v but could only find two english channels.
The room itself was decorated really well and the bed was really comfy.
The bathroom was quite small but had everything you needed.
The small balcony looked over a typical roman street. The 3 drunks that were asleep across the road and their very noisy dogs did get a bit annoying after a while!
The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choice. The staff were very helpful and always friendly.
There were many nice restaurants and bars within walking distance from the B&B. Rome is quite smelly in July and there was a lot of graffiti everywhere.
We really enjoyed our stay at Your Nest In Rome, it was a bit out of the way of the main tourist attractions but I would go back tomorrow :)

We just returned from two nights at Your Nest In Rome and the experience was great.

The hotel arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport (45 euros) and our rooms were ready for us when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English well.

The rooms were small, but immaculate, and included a tv and bathroom. It's not luxurious, but when in Rome, who spends time in a hotel room anyway?

The location doesn't get any better. The Trastevere neighborhood is a great place to stay. It's full of restaurants and walking distance to everything.

If you are trying to find the hotel yourself, get directions from the staff ahead of time. There is no sign on the exterior.

Definitely a place I would go back to.

We've just got back from a weekend at Your Nest in Rome and couldn't be happier.

The hotel is beautiful inside, the rooms are spotless, tastefully decorated and just like the photos on the website. The location is perfect...right in the heart of Trastevere...we walked everywhere.

What really makes this place stand out though are the staff. The owner, Cristiana, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect....nothing was too much trouble including going out to buy a bottle of wine for us when she was clearly busy!
The other staff members are always smiling and ready to help. There's just a great atmosphere in this place.

Ours was a somewhat romantic getaway and this hotel was perfect. Even though the hotel was full we didn't see another guest during our stay and really felt as if we we're the only ones there.

I can't recommend this place highly enough, a really wonderful place.

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon in Rome. We had the most amazing time!
We stayed at B&B Your Nest in Rome for the week and were extremely pleased with the excellent atmosphere and service.

Cristiana, the owner, is just fantastic! She is personable, professional and very kind. Her fabulous staff was friendly, accommodating and very welcoming.

We loved the quaintness of the rooms and how the B&B was situated on the 4th and 5th floors of an apartment building. We felt like we really had the chance to be a part of the "local" scene.

The rooms are very clean, warm and inviting. Cristiana was even so generous to upgrade us to the suite for our honeymoon! We were delighted to have the spacious room and beautiful balcony.

The location is right in the middle of a bunch of great little cafes, pizzerias, shops and only a few minutes walk to the cross the Tiber. My husband and I were able to walk to every one of the Rome attractions ... it's about equal distance from the Vatican and Colosseum ... and only about a 15 minute walk to the Pantheon!

And a great bonus -- there is a 24-hour fruit and veggie shop right next door!!

We will definitely return to Your Nest in Rome on our next visit and highly recommend it to everyone else.
