The room was perfect for two person, Trastevere area is what we were looking for having fun, close to some very nice place.
I can suggest it for young couple or friends!! The main problem is the neighbour. The owners instead are two nice person.
We stayed here for our last night in Italy. We were very happy with it -- great location and quite comfortable. It is 26 steps up in a neighbourhood building, so you have Roman neighbours all around you, not tourists. There are 3 rooms, with a shared common room. Our room, which overlooked a quiet courtyard, was not large but nonetheless was fine. The whole place was spotless, lots of hot water, great towels, useful amenities. The location was great for walking around Trastevere. The front rooms are larger, but they do overlook a hugely popular pizzeria right across the street, so that would definitely noisy. It's another wonderful walk-around area, lots of restaurant choice and not too far to get to the taxi stand for our airport run the next day. We would stay there again.
My stay at the B&B was perfect, really -- great location, terrific amenities -- everything you need for a few days in Rome. I stayed in the Room Poeta, and enjoyed waking up in the morning and opening the beautiful windows to the street below. Great shower, bathroom adjoining -- and easy to access when I arrived. Overall, great experience!!
We really enjoyed our stay here. My husband and I stayed here for two nights in June during our stay in Rome. If authentic location, good food and night life within walking distance but with less tourists is your thing, this is your place. It's authentically Italian, meaning quirky bathroom fittings, modest bedding and a typical Italian breakfast assortment (croissants, nutella, an assortment of cereals and cafe). Having lived in Italy, I enjoyed staying in a place that resembles the accommodations of most of the apartments in the area and most importantly, I loved staying in such a cool, off-beat neighborhood such as Trastevere. Did I mention it's close to some of the best tasting food in Rome as well as best night-life? Highly recommend if these things are important to you.
We loved the location, easy access to main attractions in Rome, and good bar and nightlife in the evenings. You could ask for better location. Trastevere is a place frequented by more locals than tourists in the evenings so you get a nice local feeling. Unfortunately, the breakfast was too simple and we had to buy our own, but owner is very very friendly.
