Six of us stayed for a hot sunny week. Excellent location- the Pope said a mass at S. Maria Maggiore while we were here. We hung out the windows and saw everything! Good cross-breeze in kitchen and master bedroom. AC works well for sleeping- and for street noise (of which there is a lot). Three blocks away is Regoli - best coffee, pastries, and take home whole cakes. But the coffee directly at bottom of building fine too. 10 minute walk to see Colesseum (walk past at night as well as visiting). Five minutes to Termini so no need for taxi unless non-wheeeled bags. Do take train to Tivoli and see Villa d'Este and its gardens at least. Villa Adriana, which is really Hadrians settlement is amazing if interested in Roman history. It's very dry and hot though w sandy paths so wear closed shoes and get there early!
This beautiful apartment is located in the perfect location (right in front of Santa Maria Maggiore) with easy access to sights, restaurants, night life, etc. Sabrina was super helpful to us upon arrival and even offered to help us with a fed ex arrival we were expecting. She provided helpful restaurant suggestions as well. The bathrooms and bedrooms are beautiful. The double decker tour bus has a stop 1 block from this apartment and we bought a 3 day pass and used it in lieu of taking taxis or public transport and it was a great and economical way to maneuver the city.
We can highly recommend this apartment in a very central location opposite the Basilica. Sabrina met us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and helpful. The apartment is very well appointed and was more than spacious for our group of four. Beds and furniture are comfortable and the decor appealing. The apartment is serviced by a small lift sufficient for 4 people. We would certainly stay here again next time we are in Rome.
We stayed at this apartment last week for 2 nights and highly recommend it. The location is great, nice clean and spacious place and Sabrina was an excellent host!!
We couldn't have been happier! The location was perfect for the train/metro, walking distance to most attractions. Our host Sabrina was great, very responsive to text before and after our trip. Apartment is in great condition, as pictured. I would highly recommend the Marconi apartment and Sabrina!
We are a family of four and stayed at Casa Marconi for a week and it was wonderful. Sabrina met us at the apartment and showed us around the apartment. This is one of those places where the photos do not lie...it is truly as beautiful as it looks. It is a beautifully appointed apartment and has everything you could need - dishwasher, washing machine, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms with lots of soft, fluffy towels and good heating and lots of small extras that make it special, including blankets on the sofa, a well stocked bookcase and a couple of welcome treats in the fridge.
The apartment is right on the Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore with gorgeous views. It's a couple of blocks from the Termini train station and is in easy walking distance of all of central Rome's main attractions and features. There are lots of restaurants nearby.
We were so happy with this apartment - great value for money - and Sabrina was a fantastic host. We would stay here again.
We rented from Marconi house which is situated perfectly for beauty and ease. I've never done Trip advisor nor a review, but I would say it was a 5!!!
Waking to a dome lit sunrise was spectacular. The apartments appointments were modern, clean and practical. Sabrina had delivered two baskets of cheeses, eggs, pasta, meats and biscotti (which we ordered from the list she supplied regarding places to see and things to do. as well as specialty items you could have delivered...
so the kitchen was well used.. as was the laundry... simply and easily.
She went FAR out of her way to help us fix a travel "situation" and was kind and gentle with our "trauma"... I would highly recommend this residence.
