“To Enjoy Life”
Reviewed 25 February 2014

My trip to Italy was about celebrating life and Vivendo which translates into enjoying life was a wonderful restaurant to cap off my joyful holiday. The maître d' was very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable and settled us in for a wonderful gastronomic evening. The food and wine could not be faulted- fresh ingredients, cooked with care presented with flair.
Vivendo's decor has an elegant charm that provides a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere in which to savour the food and wine and enjoy a special time together.

“Simply perfection!”
Reviewed 22 February 2014

I wanted somewhere special in Rome on valentines night to propose to my girlfriend after several excellent reviews I decided on Vivendo and I must say the place is simply perfect. From the moment we walked in there the restaurant manager Michele Divico was amazing pampering to our very need without being intrusive. For example even though it was a set menu my partner doesn't like fish so they changed the course without a second thought. The food itself is amazing and some of the best I've ever tried and they match it with the most wonderful wine. While not cheap you get what you pay for and its certainly not overpriced. Again special mention to Michele who made us feel like VIP's and couldn't help enough.

“service is spot on!”
Reviewed 14 February 2014

it is a shame that I get to review this lovely restaurant only now since I have been really busy. anyhow, we went here last June of 2013, travelled with friends and a kid. we booked this resto because of all the good reviews and it did not disappoint.
we had a dinner reservation, and the moment we entered from the time we walked out, it was fantastic. the maitre d and all the staff were all smiles, very child friendly as well.
the food was excellent, place very posh, music very relaxing and the whole ambiance was superb. we had no complaints, everything was perfect.! Would definitely go back here :)

“Beautiful restaurant, very good service and food, but a couple of complaints”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

This is a beautiful elegant restaurant with almost perfect service and excellent food, with prices to match. The service is attentive and informed; the menu interesting. The wines are very expensive, with the cheapest bottle being around 60 euros. We shared a pasta dish that was exceptional. My husband ordered the veal which was wonderful. I ordered the lamb, which was also quite good, however the portion was miniscule, way too small for the price. It was hard to find the lamb amongst the sauce and vegetables. I gently mentioned it to the maitre d, expecting that he might do something about it, but it must have gone right over his head, as there was no response. We ordered dessert and it also was excellent. I really wanted to love this restaurant and it did come close, but for a high priced, elegant restaurant it fell a bit short. Another example is that in most restaurants of this caliber, if there are crumbs on the table, they brush them off between courses; not so here. Hopefully it was just a glitch this particular evening, but we were staying at the hotel and I would have assumed that they would make it a bit more special.

“Fantastic service in a great location”
Reviewed 7 July 2013

We started of the celebration of my father in laws 70 years birtday with drinks in the lobby bar. Great drinks with superb "complimentary snacks"
When we entered the restaurant we were met by the manager. From that moment until the end of the meal he made our evening unforgetable. We have visited many 3 star restaurants, but he is truley one of a kind. Best service ever.
We had a la carte and the pasta we got was one of the best during out 14 days in Italy, only beaten by Osteria Francescana in Modena (3 best in the world)
They have a good wine list and the food modern Italian.
The restaurant is very child friendly and the waiters go a long way to satisfy them both with food and drinks. We highly recommend Vivendo, especially for the outstanding service.
