Excellent apartment for families with 2-3 kids.
Beautifully furnished with lovely decor, fab tall ceilings and efficient air-con. Really comfy beds enabled us to get a great night's sleep.
5 mins walk from the Coloseum and Roman Forum.
Fully functioning kitchen with everything you could need for family meals to escape the crazy restaurant prices.
Shower has good water pressure and even laundry washing machine.
Our lovely host was superb and helped us book taxis and tickets and gave us great restaurant recommendations.
We couldn't fault it! Would definitely stay there again.
Our family of 5 just finished a wonderful stay at Casa di Bine. It was a nice size with 3 spacious bedrooms -- each with an air conditioner, important after a long day walking around Rome in the summer! The kitchen was fully equipped and had some of the basic staples -- olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee, wafers, etc. The location is excellent...it is 5 minutes from the Colloseum (but well away from the crowds), 15 minutes from Roma Termini and near the Metro A & B lines (although we walked everywhere...Trestevere, the Jewish ghetto, Fountain of Trevi, Spanish steps, the Pantheon, Piazza Navano, Castel D'Angelo). At the end of a long day, it was nice to head into the side streets between the apartment and the Colloseum where there were a number of good restaurants for dinner. What really makes this apartment special is its owner, Giussepina. She has a spotless place, really enjoys acting as a host and gives very good advice on restaurants, night shows, day trips to the beach and showed us how to make Italian coffee -- which we did for ourselves almost every day! We hope to return to Rome soon and would love to stay at Casa di Bine again.
What a great stay! Giuseppina was a most delightful and accommodating hostess. We were thrilled to stay in her apartment near the colosseum. The interior is just as the photos show, impeccably clean, bright, comfortable, new and so quiet! We had the best rest ever. The apartment is a few blocks from the Colosseum and a 20 minute walk to other attractions, which we loved. Giuseppina went out of her way to welcome us to Rome. She made super recommendations for restaurants and transportation. Upon our departure, she went above and beyond by making phone calls to help us book our transportation to our next destination. I would highly recommend booking her home and will certainly do so the next time I am in Rome.
Great location. Excellent communication by owner. Good kitchen area & appliances. Spacious. Beds a bit hard. It is a flat with plenty of neighbors (think noise through ceilings and handymen hammering at inopportune times) but the double paned windows keep out all street sounds which was critical in Rome where ambulance sirens are de riguer. Overall I would re-book.
We are a family of 5 who stayed at the Casa di Bine in the beginning of July. Apartment is centrally located, immaculate, roomy and right near the colosseum, Metro is also very close to apartment, which will take you to any place in Rome. Giuseppina was a very gracious host who promptly answered any questions that we might have had about the beautiful city of Rome, and she recommended many superb restaurants in the area. She was also very kind to arrange airport transportation to and from the apartment. The Carrefour supermarket is also very close and convenient. Would definitely stay there again when we visit Rome.
We visited Rome in June with our 2 teenage children and stayed at Casa di Bine! It was a wonderful way to begin our Italian holiday. The rental is beautiful, the finishes are very high end and it is immaculately cared for. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood but is very walkabout to the everything. Giuseppina is a wonderful hostess and is happy to help make other arrangements and recommendations. I am so glad we booked Casa di Bine! We hope to be back!
The apartment was beautiful. The bathrooms were modern and the location was perfect. When you walked out of the building, you could see the Colosseum which was just a few blocks away. There were a lot of places to eat within a couple of blocks and it was a short walk to both Metro Line A and B. The kitchen was a little small. It definitely worked for our family of 4, mainly because we weren't really cooking meals. There were 3 bedrooms, but one of the bedrooms doubled as the living area (sofa and TV were also there...). It had air conditioning which was a blessing since it was 90+ when we were in Rome. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to friends.
