“Safe for people driving”
Reviewed 27 May 2013

This is a hotel located in the outskirts of Rome, it's not good for Rome visiting, keep that on mind, unless you're driving your car. Then it's outstanding, because you park your car in front of your room.

Located so far away from the city near the Rome highway ring you can still reach it by bus, line 044 from Eur Fermi metro station. Ask the driver but the bus stop is located next to an oil station with a small supermarket (keep an eye for it).

There is no proper reception, since it's meant for people driving their cars it's a long booth and you talk to them from your car seat or you can get down and go inside the office. Strange thing for me.

The rooms are big (a huge plus, but it's also due to being so far away), flat screen (37LCD i would say) and vhs+dvd player. You have also sky package. The beds are two joined beds but they're confy. AC works smoothly and the lights are very modern with buttons not interruptors. The bathroom is separated, shower outside, in the main room area and toilet in it's room. You have two entries for the room, from your car park (right in front of your door) and from the inside of the complex (which is basically a long corridor with rooms on both sides).

Breakfast is included with your room (even through Hotwire) and it's actually good although the location for it is underground with no views the staff is friendly and there is plenty of cold stuff to choose from. There are no sausages or eggs (sorry brits).

I think it's a good choice for people traveling with their car or that want to experience Rome from the distance. But if you plan to wake up early and sightseeing right away, don't take it.

I like this type of accommodation, like motels in USA. Your car is parked in front of your room and you can go straight to the door. Very modern room like lights, shower, tv,furnitures. The great thing for us was microwave, when we prepared our dinner.Arrival is through the gate, so the whole object is safe! The breakfast area is also good, many various products.

This was a really clean hotel and great base for our sight seeing weekend of Rome, thankfully we had a car, as was a good 15 minutes drive out of the city and very rural. The rooms had individual parking and a quirky Motel layout. There was coffee making facilities but only enough for 2 x cups each. There was no restaurant (though breakfast was provided-which was continental, tasty and plentyful), there was a garage next door where we were told we could by a meal, but it never seemed to be serving, so ate in Rome itself every night....and also went to a supermarket and bought food as there was a microwave in the room.
Staff were great and really enjoyed our stay there.

Room Tip: They all seemed to be on one level and very similar

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and it was really nice. The hotel is new with interesting design. It has spacious rooms and private parking lot in front of each room. Breakfast was ok, did not have big variety, but was enough to charge you for a day. The staff on the recpetion was helpful and very friendly, as well as housekeeping did a very good job. I would definitely recommend this hotel for visitors with car, because the hotel is located 15 - 20 km from Rome center. The only problem that we had was wi-fi connection that did not work in the room. The day that we arrived we got internet ticket from the reception. We were charged 2,5 euro and finally ended up sitting on the reception area and trying to check our e-mails. Appart from that we were very satisfied with our choice of the hotel and would stay there again.

Parking is to the door step of your room, which is a plus plus. Saved us a lot of effort when transferring the luggage. Price is really good and a very clean and quite place to stay at. They even provide coffee machine and microwave in the room! 3 drawbacks though, housekeeping was so so, curtain ended up tangled together and did clear the trash.... Another thing is it takes 15-20 min drive to the city centre itself. So suggest Avoid driving in and out at peak hour. Last is wifi Internet is not complimentary.

My partner and i stumbled across this place whilst looking for a place to stay in Rome. We'd read reviews about the location being out of the way but it seemed relatively easy to get into the city. The pictures looked amazing.

Turning up at the hotel we were not disappointed! Yes it is out of the way (it will set you back a little getting a taxi from the airport to here if you arrive in Rome late at night as we did!) but the hotel rooms are beautiful. It's not a place for friends or family unless you don't mind showering in front of everyone else!

The 044 to Laurentina AND the metro to any stop on the line costs a total of 1 euro - therefore you can't complain about the distance! It takes a mere 20 minutes to get into the city centre.

We spent a lot of time exploring the city (as one should in Rome), but this place created a great place to unwind and relax those tired legs after long days of walking!

The breakfast is served in an underground room and has enough to offer to keep anyone satisfied. Maybe those who are fussy about transport shouldn't come here without a car, but we had no problems whatsoever and it shouldn't put you off at all.

All in all a great place to stay and i would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone!
