I had a lovely meal here. The food was amazing. The gentleman who served me was delightful and chatted to me for a while about my home town, the weather in Rome and education. he was great!

“A great restaurant if you're tired of pizza and pasta!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

After many days of nonstop pizza and pasta, my family and I were looking for something a little different. Since we are of South-Asian descent, we looked for an Indian/Pakistani restaurant and came across Himalaya's Kashmir. We were NOT disappointed! The food was flavorful and the service was prompt. Some of our favorite dishes were the Chicken Kadhai and the Okra Bhindi, plus you have to get the fresh naan bread! Over the course of our trip we went three times because we just couldn't get enough!

“Awesome Food for all those Indians/Pakistanis inn Europe, missing their home food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 July 2014

Awesome food for all those Indian/pakistanis in Europe, who miss their home and country. Located in the close surroundings of Rome Railway Station(termini), offers a vibrant atmosphere to eat with soft bollywood music playing in the background.
Ordered for Dal Tadka, Aloo Gobhi and Tandoori Rotti.
All dishes awesome with taste as original as your native place in Indian subcontinent,
Superb value for money.
Bonus - Free WiFi, and must go for all punjabi speaking people.

“good indian restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

I might not be an expert in indian food, but i've tried indian food many times so that i can distinguish between authentic indian food and not. their food is incredibly good, and price is reasonable. There are many indian restaurants on the same street, but i had an indian roommate from the same hostel and she said this restaurant is the best, so I believe her.

oh, did I mention that the manager and waiters are super friendly? It's a hidden gem in Roma if you crave Indian food, or if you are just in this area in general and don't know where else to go, this should be the place.

“Excellent Indian Food - Well Priced - Dozens of Gluten Free & Vegetarian Choices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

After 15 days in Italy, we were craving spicy food and an early (for Italy) dinner before a full day trip back to California. The food was delicious ... spicy, rich, and authentic, and the service was friendly and efficient, without being rushed or left sitting waiting for the check. We started with mixed veggie pakora (perfectly crisp without being oily, filled with freshly shredded carrots and an assortment of sauces ... mint, hot sweet chutney, and Indian pickles) ... vegetarian as well as gluten free, made with besan (garbanzo) flour. For mains, we had Korma Chicken (gently spicy, in a yogurt sauce, the best we've ever had) and Butter Chicken, made the traditional way with large tender chunks of Tandoori Chicken in a thick and spicy tomato sauce. We also had a side of Zafrani rice (basmati rice with saffron). Vegetarians, Celiacs and gluten intolerant folks (me), and everyone else who loves Indian food will be very happy and well-fed here, without worries. Our dinner -- with water only, no drinks -- was just over 34 euros. Highly recommended.
