“Great Indian food near Vatican”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

This restaurant was a welcome change from all of the Italian food whilst we were holidaying in Rome. The food is delightful and the staff were generous in offering extra papadams and condiments. The main dishes were a good size and overall it was a very tasty meal!

“Really great meal and experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2014

We were thrilled by our experience at Kohinoor. We are Americans in Naples so every time we go up to Rome, we get Indian. Of the three places we've been to in Rome, this is the best of the three. Great prices, generous portions. Located right south of the Vatican. We got the set menu which was very reasonable and had a lot of food. Service was great and ambiance was lovely. We will be going back.

“Tasty Indian food for a good price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2014

Outstanding Indian food! My wife and I stumbled across this restaurant during our daily tours of Rome. We ate here one night to get away from the regular pizza/pasta menus. We were blown away by the tasty food and friendly service. This restaurant is a nice break from the daily Italian diet. The food was so good that we returned on the following evening to get another round of tasty dishes. It is on the south side of Vatican city about a 5 minute walk from St. Peters Square and is open for lunch. We will definitely return here on future trips to Rome.

“A little slow BUT..”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 December 2013

We probably were The most difficult table a restaurant could face, 9 people, all with different tastes, habits and experiences about indian food, so we can not complain too much about the fact that service was a little slow, specially after considering All dishes are prepared at the moment, contrary to most "indian" restaurants in Roma. Food was excellent, tasty, vibrant and colourful, each and avery request was completely satisfied and the bill was inexpensive. A Must!
