This room was so well located. The Pantheon is literally a few steps away. It is run by The Abruzzi Hotel but is in a separate building. This means you have a key to the street door as well as your room key and can come and go without passing the reception each time. The street door leads you to the main pedestrian path that goes from the Trevi fountain to the Pantheon. Another bonus is the coffee in the bar downstairs at Tazza D'Oro. The granita caffe was reccommended to us by a taxi driver and it is not to be missed. The restaurants just a few meters away were all really busy and we discovered that the busiest ones had great food. We found our room to be quiet despite being located in a busy area and the airconditioning was a welcome feature.

Room Tip: Ask for the double room with "the view"

Like all the other reviews, I agree this hotel is located perfectly. Unfortunatly our encounters with staff members was far from perfect. We had a problem checking in, and in the commotion I forgot my pin number of my credit card. The receptionist actually called me stupid! My husband got so cross we almost didn't stay here. Luckily he calmed down and we managed to avoid the staff for the rest of the stay.
Breakfast was ok, but water for tea always cold. The staff had a bit of a "can't be bothered" attitude (no tea bags, dirty cutlery). This was quickly forgiven by it's breathtaking view of the Pantheon.
The rooms could be rather noisy. It is directly on the main throughfair from the Pantheon to Trevi fountain, and a restraunt directly below the window.
But if its location location location (and you don't mind rude staff) this is the perfect hotel, and great value.

Just 30 meters from Pantheon. Check in at Hotel Abruzzi (20 meters). Nice place, modern and clean rooms, but bad isolated to other rooms. Breakfast at an restaurant on Piazza della Rotonda (50 meters away). Breakfast could have been better.

Everything about this place made our week long trip to Rome enjoyable. The location is ideal, everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was filling and got us ready for a days worth of activities. The air conditioner was hard to understand, it it did work. The room was smaller than Americans are used to, but it was more than adequate. It was clean and ready for us to rest when we got back every night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even though the cost seems high, we would definitely stay here again on a trip to Rome.

This hotel was absolutely the best place in terms of service, location and price in all of Rome! It is located almost directly in front of the Pantheon, 5 minutes from the Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps etc.. As far of location, you cannot beat it!
When we arrived at the hotel, you need to check into their parent hotel "HOTEL ABRUZZI" and the Pantheon 3E is next door, don't confuse it with the Pantheon Hotel which is also right there.. So if you are coming by taxi or train provide them with the address of Hotel Abruzzi. The staff service was absolutely so friendly and helpful, pro-active (which is practically non existent in Italy).

The room we were put in was brand new, clean and modern and very suprisingly quiet as it is located in a busy area, it seemed mored like a small apartment room. The windows are double glazed and has shutters to block out the light and noise. The room we were placed in was directly above a coffee house and the aroma of coffee in the morning was absolutely intoxicatingly amazing. The hotel has WiFi in the sitting room of the Hotel Abruzzi for a cheap price.

Breakfast was served in the Piazza of the Pantheon across the street from the hotel, which was awesome as you are able to have your breakfast with the view of the Piazza and the Pantheon. Breakfast was plentiful and for those people who love their eggs and bacon for breakfast, they had this every morning as this isn't usually an Italian style breakfast.

It truly was the best experience in all of Italy we had. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Rome, you have all the little lane ways and cobble stoned streets, night life and restaurants.

Room Tip: Check in through Hotel Abruzzi

I know many reviews say this, but take my word for it... this location is spot on PERFECT in middle of ancient Rome, which allows you to walk to all historic sites within 20 minutes tops. And all the walking is very pleasant as there is plenty to see and do. Nightlife all around is very vibrant and romantic. You only need a cab or metro when traveling to or from Airport. It is not a typical hotel as this cozy place feels like you are going into your own apartment, which is an extension of Hotel Abruzzi. All these little buildings are historic and elegant. The room was nice, clean, and elegant, but the bed was a little on the stiff side for my liking. Service is not the best, and rooms don't have phones, but we did not expect that or need it. It was on pricey side, but compared to anything in vicinity, it was cheaper and best value. There's only so much historic Rome to go around so you pay a premium to stay in middle of scenery. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from closest Metro station at Barberini, but you will not need it, except to arrive or leave if you choose. We even walked to beautiful Trastevere neighborhood across river. Campo de Fiori is also a must at night. If you can't walk much, they have little buses and trolleys that can get you everywhere also. Breakfast at the Cafe was also very nice and scenic. Highly recommend this hotel if booked for a fair price in comparison.

Just spent 3 nights in the Pantheon 3E and can recommend.
If you want location, then the Pantheon 3E is great. It is located on the main cobbled street between the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. We found that ALL the major sites were easily within walking distance. Plus the evening atmosphere was vibrant.
Check in was at the Hotel Abbruzzi. Excellant friendly staff. The Pantheon 3E being just metres away from the Pantheon itself.
Although on its own and more like a town house appartment, the Pantheon 3E included a perfectly good breakfast across the square at a cafe/bar. Breakfast included hot bacon and eggs + a huge range of cold items including lovely pastries and cakes.
Rooms were not huge but very clean, with maid service every day. Windows are double glazed which helped keep outside noise to a minimum. We were in the side room (no views of the Pantheon) but to be honest it was a perfectly good bedroom.

Room Tip: Great location!
