The title of my review nearly says it all. The waiter who sat us was very obnoxious, there is a forced service charge for bread which is illegal, the prices were about 5 euros higher for the exact same dishes as other nearby and much better restaurants, they were trying to rush out the early dining tourists, and the food is only so-so,

Within our 6 day stay in Rome, we came here on the recommendation of our hotel and were blown away. It was a Friday evening and was buzzing with locals (that's how you know the food must be superb). This was one of the best meals we have ever had, and the staff were great. We even went back the following Monday and it was just as good if not better. The food just keep coming out…be sure to try the Buffalo Mozzarella, Eggplant Parm and the Tirmisu…out of this world! The best opt secret in the city.

We were recommended this by our hotel, the Sofitel. The food was okay but they brought our main course before we finished our starter. They rushed us so much we could not enjoy the lovely ambiance of the restaurant.

We had some very good food in Rome (almost everything), but THIS was the very best. Some grilled tiger shrimp (they were out of the squid), raviolis in a pine nut sauce, and the very best cheesecake I could ever imagine. So light!

Evidently this is a “locals” place, not yet known by the tourists.

Well worth the wait.
