Our family loved our stay in this apartment! The location is very central to most of the must see attractions and neighborhoods. Trastevere is a lively section of town, which we knew going in, and suited our family just fine. Ours is a family with 3 teens of ages 18, 17 & 14. It’s probably less ideally suited for families with small kids or people with limited mobility, but the owners are upfront about that in their description. The apartment had all of the necessary amenities, with a surprisingly large refrigerator, and a really refreshing AC after a long, hot Roma touring day. The beds were comfortable, though the sofa bed was a tad bit less so (which is about the only item that might be interpreted as a negative, but hey it’s a sofa bed). The decor was really unique, and everyone liked the layout. The upstairs and the nook beds were perfect for my two daughters to have some privacy. The upstairs bedroom is best suited for someone younger (again as described by the owner). The master bedroom and bathroom exceded our expectations. The whole apartment was a great melding of rustic (dark wooden cross beams - it was part of a former monestary) with a modern upscale artistic decor.
If our coins in the Trevi fountain work out as we hope, we’ll be fortunate to get to visit Rome and stay here again!
My family of four really enjoyed this cute and charming apartment. It's perfect for two adults and two kids. One of the bedrooms is up in a loft with its small bathroom and our teenage daughters tossed a coin to see who would stay up in the loft! Just below the loft is another nice space with a cozy single bed so they were both happy. The shower up in the loft is very small so we all ended up using the master bedroom shower. Otherwise the girls were using the small bathroom in the loft. It's in a great location. Trastevere is a great area of rome to stay in. It's away from the hustle and bustle and feels more like a quaint livable neighborhood full of amazing restaurants and quaint bars right outside your door. The BEST croissant i had during the entire 10 days was in the café at the end of the street that serves "American breakfast" in the mornings. And the best cappuccinos are in the café across the street from that place. Trastevere is very family-friendly and feels very safe. Simona is honest about the noise from the bars downstairs which you can only hear from the master bedroom at night. However, the sound machine in the master bedroom perfectly helped drown the noise so it was fine for us. Ceiling fan in the master bedroom was also appreciated. This was a halfway point on our trip to Italy so we also enjoyed having a washer and our clothes were dry on the balcony by the time we got back from our excursions. Simona and Marco are great and extremely responsive to all my questions before our stay and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again! :)
The owner was always responsive.
Location is interesting but noisy. However,
The flat is not suitable for four adults unless 2 are small adults.
The second bathroom is difficult to navigate and the futon and single bed are uncomfortable.
However, Good restaurants are immediately outside the flat. No need to cook and the flat is walking distance to most sites with taxis always available when needed.
I was a guest in this house from 3to 7 February with my husband and a couple of friends. we had a great time. near the center. near the delicious restaurants and clubs of Trastevere. If I go back to Rome ( and I will), I will definitely book again. thanks for this nice accommodation. I recommend definitely!
We really liked this little apartment. They were honest about the street noise from the main bedroom, but even as a light sleeper it was okay and while there was noise I could get to sleep.
The welcome was good, and the lifts arranged from and to the airport were easy and comfortable.
It had a lovely relaxed vibe and was in a bustling bit of Rome that was very friendly. It made us feel like locals, loved it!
Location, location, location! This lovely apartment is perfectly situated in the hip and happening Trastevere neighborhood, walkable to most everything one would want to see and do in Rome. Simona was very responsive and helpful with everything from an airport pick-up, to restaurant recommendations. The photos of the apartment are accurate; it's every bit as comfortable as it looks. We would absolutely stay there again!
Autumn in Trastevere, in the heart of Rome ... what else could be more charming? This is particularly true if it happens to be by staying in this apartment that combines comfort with an unmistakably "old world" elegance. We relaxed in its cosy rooms, strolled in the picturesque alleys below, consumed tasty dishes in the Roman tradition in the friendly trattorias of which this area offers a wide selection. Without forgetting that the monumental side of Rome is all within reach, from the Vatican to, by re-crossing the Tiber, Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori. The reception service is impeccable and professional. Highly recommended!
