“A very pleasant stay”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

Arco Romano rooms was a very good place to stay during our recent 5 day stay in Rome. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was minimal noise and we felt very safe. The owners were very helpful and provided us with useful maps of local supermarkets and restaurants. The breakfast was very minimalist, a self-service choice of french toast or croissants but there was a selection of tasty juices and there was the ability to make your own breakfast using the kitchen facilities. Overall I would say that it is a very good value choice for Rome and I would highly recommend it.

Arco Romano rooms was perfect for our recent trip to Rome. It was a spacious room with ensuite bathroom, with a nice big window, a/c, free wireless internet and included self serve continental breakfast. Finding it is a bit tricky, but from termini station take tram 5 four stops and get off at piazza di maggiore. From there, walk through the large arch and you will find the street in front of you about 2 blocks.

The room was clean, quiet and overlooked a little street. the neighbourhood is fantastic (NOT touristy), just down the street on the corner is amazing pizza, the trattoria across the street looked popular and we bought buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto from the small market next door which was fantastic. there's a pasticerria on via santa croce in gerusalemme (about 3 blocks) right in front of the church and we had delicious cappucino and carnetto here with the locals.

The owners will send you an email with important instructions on how to get into the complex (locked gate etc). read them! the owners live in a separate building, so depending on your time of arrival you may need to buzz their home building, rather than the hotel one. either way - it's not that complicated as long as you get directions and follow them. check out is 10 am - a bit early - but we were able to leave our luggage and return to collect it later in the day.

would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in Acro Romano Rooms for 3 days last week. The owner is very nice and helpful. The room is not big but very clean. The washing room is enough. The equipment in the room is sufficient. You can have food and drink in kitchen whenever you like. This is really enjoyable after a full day walk under hot Mediterranean sunshine. It is in a local neighborhood unit, 5 min walk from railway station Manzoni (2 stops from Station Termini). Bus No.571 and No.3 can take you to almost all site-seeing point in Rome in 15 min. Highly recommended! Booked via its main website is much cheaper than web agency.

Imagine yourself after a full day in Rome, after walking and visiting great monuments, museums and avenues...You feel very tired and you need a place clean, quiet and comfortable to get some rest. Well, that kind of place is the Arco Romano Rooms. In a distance of 8 minutes walking from the underground, 20 minutes walking from Colosseum, in a quiet neighborhood, it's a great value-for-money choice. The owner is very helpful and kind and he'll give you important informations about the city. The breakfast is self-service and it's plenty enough to start your day. We recomend it and we'll visit it again if we have the opportunity.

Very friendly accommodation. Situated close to underground, in prety silent road. The room was small, but it didn´t matter, room was very clean, every day changing towels and making the beds.
The owner was very kind and gave us the comprehensive informations.
We appreciated an equipped breakfast room for our one year old baby.

stayed in arco romano for 2 nights. The owner is just nice and helpful in providing useful travel information. you feel like home to stay in this place. the room is not so big but sufficient, with all the things you need- fridge, wardrobe, hairdryer, shampoo, safe etc.
the location is fair, which with walking distance to the major scenic spots.. alternatively, you can also take bus , which the bus station is around the corner. it's also kinda closed to Termini station ( about 20 mins by taking the train). but a kind reminder is that it's better not carrying your luggage to / from Termini station if it's too early or late. it's not so safe as we were almost being robbed. be alert!

Stayed in Arco Romano fro two nights, and i can say it was what we were lloking for. A decent room at a very good price, close to the main attractions and a metro station. Of course dont expect a hotel or fancy things. It is like your cousin leaving you the keys to his house (or putting you in a spare room). TO note that the room was very big and clean and that the owner was very very nice and helpful. Also you can park your car in an enclosed yard in fron of the building for free. And all that for 70Eur in our case. One suggestion; avoid walking from train station with luggage to the hotel (if you are travelling with a girl:)) since around the aqueduct you do get some girls doing heir nightshift and overall they might not feel overly comfortable

Room Tip: Book the room directly with owner since he will give u better price
