“Amazing Pizza...worth the walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

This pizza place is about an hour walk from the city centre or I'm sure you can take the metre. Best Pizza I have ever had, a little pricey but you will not be disappointed. Just outside the Vatican City Walls.

“Decent pizza, average in class”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

Executive Summary,

Pros - Tasty pizza, food selection of drinks, next to metro station

Cons - Hygiene issue*

*On my visit during the night, there were quite a few flies inside and landing on pizzas (they do reheat the pizza so some comfort I guess)

Overall decent if you are around Vatican City but other pizza stalls or restaurant are equally good with better hygiene and similarly priced.

Top tip - Potatoe pizza is decent

“Soupli is Great!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2014 via mobile

I didn't find the pizza too tasty, I mean you're in Italy and surely there are better places. However, the slices here are unique, if you're into that. Anyways, the soupli here is amazing. They have a bunch of different kinds like pesto with buffalo cheese, spicy marinara with rice and buffalo cheese, horse radish with blue cheese and rice, etc. TRY THEM ALL. The cheese just melts in your mouth with an explosion of flavor. I love this place and I'll definitely be back.

“Fine pizza; not worth the walk.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014

The pizza here is good, but it is good elsewhere, too. Some of the other reviews make this place sound unique (lots of toppings, you choose the size of the pizza), but this is pretty standard fare. There is no seating and this place is located way on the outskirts of town; it's even a bit of a hike (through uninteresting neighborhoods) from the Vatican museums, which are the closest landmark.

This hole in the wall pizza place was a true find and well worth the walk to find it. After visiting the Vatican (and enduring the heat and sweltering crowds) our hungry party of teenagers and adults bravely traversed the mystifying and confusing roads of Rome, spoke to several Italians (Dove e Pizzarium?) and finally arrived at our destination. It is a small takeaway place, with one bench on the curb which is consistent with Italian outside dining, and several small standup tables to place your gastronomic creation and eat with gusto. The menu is diverse and surprising, with toppings such as potatoes, artichokes, green beans, whole chili peppers, whole cherry tomatoes, eggplant, pork with goat cheese, prosciutto, tuna, bell peppers, etc...all served on a thin crust to better savor the toppings. Cold beer was also available! Our hungry tribe tried almost all toppings and left with smiles on our faces and full tummies. Prices were very reasonable - and for those who want something other than pizza, rice balls were available with fig and prosciutto, mushroom with spinach and 4 cheeses, the list goes on! And the staff actually spoke inglese! Awesome food, service, and price!
