“For us, best restaurant in Rome”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

We went there every evening, even if we had to properly wait in a line to get a table.
Not fancy but simply delicious, gives you the feeling you are in a Italian's home, perfect sea food, pasta and desserts.
Nearby, next door just, the best gellateria ever...

“Personal service and fabulous food”
Reviewed 10 April 2014

This is a wonderful place, centrally located in Rome . The carbonara was the best I had… Great pizza and antipasto too. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the owner personally greeted the diners and helped with the service. House wine was really good. Local's were enjoying the food as much as the tourists. Highly recommend!

“Good food, shame about the service!”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

We were shown to a table in the fairly empty restaurant, and then totally ignored! Other customers arrived, sat down, and were also ignored! The staff were busy chatting to each other, and didn't seem to care whether customers were there or not. After the restaurant had filled up a bit more, the waiter eventually deigned to ask us for our order, and finally we got to eat. And it was pretty good...in fact, my side order of carciofini (small artichokes, cooked whole, not swimming in oil - I'd love to know where to buy this sort of artichoke in the UK, and the secret of cooking them so deliciously) was EXCELLENT. The wine was cheap and perfectly acceptable. But we won't go back, given the attitude of the staff.

“Tasty and afforable place to eat. Non Tourist food. Real deal”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

When you are surround by locals and not tourist, you know it's the real deal. The food was cook perfectly. I lost word with clam pasta. The service was excellent. We went there 2 nights, the second night, the waiter remembers us offer us free lemon liquor. The price is extremely affordable. 8, 9 euro for a big plate of clam pasta and that taste great....whatssssss...

For 2 ppl, 20 euro, nice dinner.........

“Very tasty tradional Italian food”
Reviewed 30 March 2014 via mobile

Always packed with customers, you might have to wait for a table to get in, but it is definitely worth it.

You will receive the most tasteful Italian dishes around the Colloseum, definitely different than the regular tourist traps. Decent prices, correct Italian service, nothing fancy, just efficiency, it seems to be a family run business.
