“A must see!”

Cattedrale di San Lorenzo
Reviewed 11 December 2012

This romanesque church with its frescos is a breathtakingly beautiful church. It seems to be open and easily accessible during the day. Don't forget a one Euro coin to turn the lights on. It is well worth it. Don't miss the nearby Casa Gotica.

This is a good example of a duomo in Italy. Not spectacular like St. Peter's of course, but no stair climbing either. All in all a peaceful place to take a rest on your travels.
