“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 26 September 2013

I think this is a little haven overlooked when people visit Tivoli. 10 min walk from the station it is a delightful park formed when they diverted the river that runs through Tivoli via a tunnel in to this valley. There is a well defined path with diversions leading off to little waterfalls all along the route. A very peaceful place after the hustle and bustle of Rome

“beautiful”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

beautiful natural waterfalls are crammed into a small space. The walking is short, but it not an easy stroll. You can get close enough to the water to fall in.

“a must see in Tivoli”
Reviewed 19 September 2013

For me this underrated, and often overlooked park is one of the best things to do in this lovely city. It does involve many steps and wooded areas but the payoff is incredible, especially when you follow the map and take the additional trails to the slightly out of the way sights. It was a memorable experience, and I can't wait to return and share it with someone else.

“Don't miss it”
Reviewed 14 September 2013

This park was one of our reasons for visiting Tivoli and we were not disappointed. Be prepared for a steepish descent and a complementary climb upwards. Be prepared also for waterfalls, winding paths and Roman ruins in a cool green setting. Wear good walking shoes.

“Tivoli of the romantics--great views from the (tamed) wilderness”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

The Italian organization who rehabilitated this fine romantic landscape garden deserves all possible support, so if for no other reason, do visit Villa Gregoriana by all means. But meandering down into the gorge and up the other side, you'll be amply rewarded with views of the (recently carefully restored) Roman monuments--the iconic tholos, so-called temple of Vesta, and the so-called temple of Tiburnus--and of spectacular scenery; the waters of the Aniene, diverted through tunnels out of which they thunder down, but still feeding into lesser waterfalls too, various grottoes, diverse vegetation, and not to forget, the surrounding countryside offer pleasurable sights to whoever has eyes to see.
