We were promptly seated and staff was welcoming. We were ordering wine, but were not offered a wine menu. We got a liter of the house wine. Satisfactory, but not special. We ordered a bean and seafood dish to share for an appetizer. From the menu, it was not apparent that it was a soup. It was served to us in a single bowl with one spoon, and 2 flat plates were put in front of each of us. It was actually quite tasty, but challenging to share and eat. The restaurant manager noticed our dilemma and brought us an extra spoon. Just a clumsy way to start the dinner. We had a fried seafood entree and pasta dish. Both satisfactory but not memorable. For dessert we ordered cheesecake and were frankly disappointed. It was made neither with marscapone nor ricotta but was instead made with cream and Philadelphia cream cheese. Not at all what we expected. A better description by the waiter when it was offered, would have helped.
