“Excellent choice for staying in or passing through Bologna!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2013

Returning from Germany through Italy by car late August, we had to stop near Ancona in order to get the boat to Patras next morning. So Bologna was our target. Our choice of Suite Hotel Elite was very successful. The choice was based on the criterion low cost: 4 Star hotel in relation to the price. For the amount we paid we had the best service, excellent room, fantastic breakfast included in the price. My wife and myself intend to stay there again either passing through or visit Bologna for a few days in order to see the wonderful centre of the city, which by the way is just a few minutes away l - another important element for choosing this luxury hotel.

Room Tip: Just pay an extra 6 euros to park your car in the open guarded parking place in front and across the...

Easy access to the airport and pretty easy to downtown (bus, walk), restaurants/bars in the neighbourhood and an excellent breakfast. The place is clean, wi-fi works perfectly and the staff is very kind!

As it happens in many places with the windows, the phonic insulation may not be very proper if you choose a road-view room. Fortunately the traffic is not so hard and you mey have a good sleep too, in case you're looking for it.

I made the reservation just 30 min before we arrived and everything was just as we asked for (non smoking, top floor room) although the hotel was quite booked.
All the staff from breakfast was very nice and helpful and the receptionist as well.
We'll definitely be back.

I spent two days at this hotel in July as part of a tour of Italy and Switzerland with my wife and daughter. I was very impressed by the size of the room provided which easily accommodate the three of us and gave my daughter some space from her parents. Our room consisted of two doubled beds separated by a large table, with a small kitchenette ad bathroom.

Breakfast was very good, coffees made to order and perhaps one of the largest and nicest choices pastries I have ever seen.

Walk in to the center of Bologna was about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace. But quite manageable and help to work off the breakfast. Taxi ride from the train station to the hotel was about 5-10 minutes at a cost of around 10 euros.

Starting our holiday to Italy, we planned to stop in Bologna for one night, before leave to Tuscany. Travelling with two kids, when it's possible, we book two rooms. We did so, weeks before I made our reservation here. Very soon I received from an email directly from the hotel, they offered us an upgrade for a very small difference, what I accepted.
We arrive to Bologna in the afternoon, was easy to find the hotel, what was an apartmanhouse former. We parked the car beside the building, there's maybe 3 places, but front of the hotel, on the street there are a lot, and the hotel has a parking place, a bit far than the main buliding, but you must have luck and driving skill to find a place there.
The lobby is small, but light, clean, and the two lady at the reception were smiling and very kind. We received our cards, and several information about the hotel and parking, then we went up to the rooms with the elevator.
The hallways are narrow, and also seems, that there were flats some time ago. I must say, this is very interesting, would be nice to see, how became this a hotel, how was the before and after, see older photos, also about the former apartments.
The rooms were a huge surprise! Literally. The upgraded suites included a small kitchen area ith fridge, and hot plate, and sink. One room had a big bathroom with tub and separeted shower, the other room had bathroom with shower, but it was big and I liked so much the big windows (doors).
The sleeping-living areas are also very light, high ceiling, light furnitures, everywhere is very very clean. The beds, pillows were very comfortable.
The Internet acces also was good, fast, no problems at all.
At the end of July were hot days, the aircon worked well, it didn't disturbed at all, adjustable.
The breakfast can be served on the terrace or in the building also, plenty of sweets, marmelade, breads, juices, etc. And there's also kind and smiling staff.

I am sure to go back there again, a very very good money value.

Room Tip: The hotel has many rooms to choose, ours looked on the main road, the windows are soundproof, it did...

A nice hotel about 20 minutes walk from city center. If you're coming from the airport the bus stops near the hotel, so ask the driver when to get off so you don't have to walk from the center/train station. The hotel looks a bit worn down and the air conditioner was pretty noisy. The breakfast was good although it was a little too much of the sweet stuff. The room had a refrigerator and safe, the wifi was really good in our room.

The rooms are modern style and good renovated. Good value for money. The city centre is on walking distance but there is also a bus in front of the hotel. Breakfast is good. Rooms on the noisy streetside can not open the windows, so you have to sleep in the airco. Backside is a little better.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the backside if you don't like to sleep in the airco.
