“very good value for money”
Reviewed 28 December 2013

Very good value for money. Newly refurbished. Rooms not very large but well laid out. Very generous breakfast but laid out for hours at room temperature including yogurts and cream pastries that (especially in the summer) should be refrigerated.
Not to be confused with the Grand Hotel Hotel Elite (same street 30 yards away): we have been in both! PROS and CONs in comparison with the Grand Hotel Elite. PROs: cheaper, better breakfast, safe box in room. CONs: smaller rooms, poor breakfast hygiene, no gym.

We stayed at Suite Hotel Elite for a week, in august 2013.The hotel is situated in a safe and quite zone, very close of the historical centre. The city is extraordinary and you must spend minimum 7 days to see the main attractions.(Do not miss to go in a trip to Modena-is very close of Bologna and the train tikets are very cheap).
Very close, there are 2 supermarkets. The room was very clean, large and with a good insonorisation.Every day, the towels were changed. The breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The internet connection was very good. There are also computers with free access in the hall. The shuttle from the airport stop is at 200 meters from the hotel. So, we can say the choice was excellent.

The view from our room (on the 7th floor) was absolutely beautiful, looking out over the suburbs of Bologna with the Madonna Di San Luca on the horizon. At sunset it was particularly striking.

The room itself was of adequate size, we requested a double bed but instead found two single beds pushed together, which was less than ideal. Be warned the walls are ridiculously thin, we could hear every bump and movement from the rooms around us, as well as every word and step of the people walking past the corridor outside the room.

The Wi-Fi was simply awful. Although we were given two separate codes so both of our devices could access the Wi-Fi at the same time, if one device was logged in, the other simply would not work.

The breakfast offered a great variety of continental options, and was very tasty.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, although the cleaners had a habit of entering the room to clean it whilst we were still there, which could have caused some awkward moments!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel on the higher floors will give you a great view of the suburbs and ho...

Located not in the best part of town, but conveniently close to the Centro Storico, with lots of buses passing in front of the hotel. For guests with a car, the free parking facility is a valuable bonus. Rooms are not huge, but not tiny either. The bathrooms are modern and comfortable. Very good breakfast, included in the price of the room. Recommended as a budget solution.

I stayed one night at Hotel Elite Suite, during my journey through Toscona. Next time stay longer.
The hotel is well located, near the city center, about 20 minutes walk and 7 minutes by bus.
Spacious rooms, comfortable, clean. Very nice breakfast, good capuccino.
Staff very friendly and helpful reception.
Bologna is a very interesting tcity, many museums, good restaurants and many shops ....good style and life!!!

This hotel was very convenient for all facilities. Buses to city centre and station. Bologna is a very interesting city, lots to do and see, restaurants, museums and shops galore. We took day trips to Florence and Venice, trains fast and clean, run to time.We will definitely go again and recommend the hotel which was perfect from reception onwards.
