“A good place to stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014

Stayed here when we went to the MotoGP racing at Mugello. Very friendly and helpful staff, they were very welcoming, spoke excellent English and offered us directions and recommendations of places to go when we weren't at the racing. Rooms were basic but clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Thankfully the bed was comfortable, after a long day at the track a good nights sleep was essential. Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety of food available.
The area was pleasant, found some lovely places to eat. Secure parking was available (at a cost) and a must as parking in the surrounding roads was extremely limited.
All in all a very pleasant stay and excellent racing too.

So the hotel needs a bit of a spruce up, but for the price all that you need for a nights sleep is adequate, after all a hotel room is just somewhere to sleep after a day spent wandering around the city and enjoying a good dinner in one of the many restaurants available. Breakfast is more than enough with many different choices. The hotel was quiet when we stayed, so I guess we didn't experience the noise and other issues that some reviewers had. If I was to make only one negative comment it would be that the bar does not appear to be open when you return late in the evening so the receptionist has to leave the front desk to serve. Having said that the staff that were on duty were helpful and polite, the hotel was clean and I slept well.

The hotel is a good walk from the station however, located in a reasonably quiet area. Staff very polite. Breakfast is very good value for money. Similar to other guests, I share the view that the showers were small but the design of the bathroom doesn't allow for anything bigger

The hotel is in a quiet but Central area of Bologna, only 10 minutes walk from the main square, but we found the room well in need of rennovation. Dirty carpet and furniture that has seen better days. The shower was very small, though the water was hot and plentiful.
The breakfast buffet was ample but of Poor quality, my husband tried two different cakes but both werenot fresh. The coffee wasnot good either, maybe accept able for foreigners.

Gentile Ospite,

croissants vuoti
croissants alla crema
croissants all'albicocca
croissants alla cioccolata
pasticceria fresca di nostra produzione
3 tipi di cereali
uova sode
wurstel o pancetta
yougurts naturali e alla frutta
6 tipi di marmellate e confetture
burro e formaggio fresco
affettato misto
frutta fresca di stagione
frutta sciroppata o secca

Cordiali saluti.

Nice hotel although a bit "old". Lokation very good and easy walking to center in 10 minuts and also easy to get to the airport, 15 minuts by taxi and 15,00 euro. Warm welcome in reception and did get room very early. Room ok, clean and all you need, bathroom clean but a bit small ! Area very much ok and not to much traffic noise. Did get good info about what to see in the center and received a good map for free. After a good Night sleep looking forward to breakfast, but rather disapointed, absolutely nothing special. Will use the hotel if in the area.

The hotel is a bit worn but clean and more than adequate for the price. It was about a 15 minute walk to the city center. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was nice, good cappuccino and a good selection of food. However, the breakfast buffet sometimes got raided by the students staying here. They must have been packing lunch from the breakfast buffet. Staff did replenish quickly and are not responsible for scavenging students. The area is less touristy so there were some nice local places to eat nearby.

The hotel is good for those who come to Bologna for business trip as well as for those who come there to explore the city. Not far from city center and railway station, in quiet area. The room and hotel itself is very good furnished and cleaned, with teaspot and tea and coffee in room, TV and hairdryer, shower amenties. WiFi is free of charge in the intire hotel, helpful staff and good breakfast.
The only minus is a noise, the walls are the thinest ones and you can easily hear all the things your neighbour do. Ear plugs can be helpful in this case :)

Room Tip: Take a ear plugs to sleep better
