This hotel is conveniently located near the railway station and at a 15 minutes walk from downtown. Small room, not impeccably clean (dust on the floor), with a somehow sub-standard equipment, and a good bathroom with shower. Courteous personnel. On the whole, too expensive for what it offers.

We stayed here for three nights. very convenient - just 5 min walk to the railwaystation and 10 min to the old town. The reception staff was nice. The room was charming and a bit "different" with a remarkable, sycadellic wall paper. Come to think of it - the wall paper in the corridors were also quite unusual.

The bed was very good. The lighting could have been a bit better. A kettle with coffe/tea was nice, and so was the free WIFI. You had to take a high step up to reach the bathroom, which was OK - even though the water presisere in the shower could have been better.

The breakfast room was cosy and they served heavenly coffee, and had an OK selection of different food. A small gym was nice as well.

Really nice, bright, comfy and pretty hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely, clean and prettily decorated room and ample bathroom.
My only negative comment would be about breakfast. Although I have a very sweet tooth the incredibly sugary and chocolatey croissants were too gooey and sweet even for me and the plain rolls were tough. So as a vegetarian not much to choose from for me. Other than that excellent coffee and nice little lady working very hard on her own serving breakfast every day.
I would certainly stay again.Didn't use spa facilities at all so can't comment.

We stayed here for a few nights as we wanted a place in the vicinity of the train station. The room was cosy, warm and clean. The bathroom was clean well sized as well. Wifi password is needed per device and you have to ask for it at reception. The Wifi connection is very good as they have a different connection on each floor. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and always with a smile! Breakfast was good and we loved the croissants, they also have a large variety of herbal teas to choose from and other very good items. We also needed to leave our luggage there after checkout and they let us put them in the luggage deposit room. The only downside was the lighting in the room which is really dim. However we were very satisfied with this Hotel.

We stayed here as part of a heavily discounted package break so can't really complain about value. We loved bologna and plan to return but doubt we would stay here again. Plus points: warm, clean, bed comfortable. Nicolo (?) the young guy on reception is really charming and should go and work in a better place. Convenient for the station but a fair trek into town : Walkable but only just. We were prepared for the idiosyncratic decor from websites such as this one, but even so the combination of red and black swirly wallpaper , yellow curtains and turquoise Formica furniture was wearing after a while. Lighting in the room too dim to read. A degree in plumbing might have helped us work out the shower sooner. Flimsy Plastic glasses provided were split and thus unusable: replaced on request but some things you shouldn't need to ask. Like a previous reviewer we too noticed the strong smell of old fags on and off in our bathroom, very strange and not pleasant. Spa not functioning during our stay. Wifi didn't work. Breakfast is buffet and pretty grim and limited except for great coffee. Staff generally ok (lovely cleaning staff and breakfast people) exceptfor the surly guy on reception who just cannot bear to move from his computer. We ordered a Campari and soda one evening - it was obviously a real pain for him to have to drag himself away from the screen for the few moments he took to pour it out(not even any ice) and to add insult to Injury when we checked out he tried to charge double for a Campari and prosecco cocktail. The major plus point is that it is next to the fantastic trattoria de via Serra, one of the best restaurants ever. Otherwise not much going for it.

as you enter , you will be taken back by the nice design and surroundings and whole atmosphere . great lobby and nice courtyard . the rooms were small , mine was okay , but my friend had a terrible bathroom . there was so little space that you had to move your feet up on the sink in order to sit on the toilet , and exiting the shower is a challenge on its own .

Room Tip: choose your rooms carefully
